Cracking piece of kit, switched off the wifi in my crappy Virgin router and had this up and running in minutes. The app is fairly basic but functional, and you can turn off the wifi access to individual units or groups. Can't recommend this enough at this price.

What speed VM do you have? I’m on 200 but like you say - the shady ‘super’ hub is lame. Supposedly a new one out this year.

Does this have a max mbps? Atm getting about 60-80 upstairs at best which is still better than other providers.

I have M100, but the issue for me was signal strength of the virgin wifi, not the speed. On a bad day I couldn't connect in the next room.

I have 17 wifi devices (I know, it's unbelievable) and no connectivity or drop out issues at all.

You need the system from ebuyer for above 100mbps. They do a 3 unit system with a free mw6 that increases to gigabit.

These are limited to 100mbps, not by the wifi itself but by the 100mbps network port in the back that plugs into the router.

If you were transferring between 2 wifi devices on the mesh they get about 250mbps.
As someone mentioned you want the MW6 version of this which has the 1Gbp ports on the nodes.
Does anyone else have issues with these and older devices?

Specifically my two Samsung TVs which are about 5-6 years old at this point frequently wind up disconnected from the units and I then have to manually forget the network and then add it again on the TVs for it to work again.

I know by the time you add up all the alexas, phones, tablets, etc it’s mad
Bought these from Curry's a few weeks ago for £2 cheaper.
As others have stated, a massive upgrade for WiFi over the crap SH 3. I can get maxed out WiFi at the very bottom or my garden now that's almost 15m away, as well as across the street in the other direction.

Was very surprised by how good these are.
I see these are still available for £59.99 now. We have a 4 bedroom detached, struggle with getting WiFi in 1 far bedroom which has an echo dot and computer. Apart from 2 smart TVs and phones/tablets, is there any real requirement for the pack including the MW6 over this pack? We don't do online gaming, stream the odd film now and again just
