Great price anyone have any experience of this product?
Seems cheaper than the equivalent Amazon deal but unsure if this an older model?
I’ve got these and can’t fault them. The base unit is gigabyte but the other two are 100mb so best suited for those primarily on WiFi rather than remote wired

The simple fact it plugs in to a wall and therefore doesn’t need somewhere to stand was what sold it to me
Great deal but I'll wait for a deal on the faster MW6
The WiFi given out by my sky router (flat black Q router) is absolutely awful.
Do these work alongside the sky router?
I currently have tp link providing hard wired coverage to my pc etc...would a to link WiFi extender be a better option?
Picked up the eBuyer MW3 + MW6 combo recently for £70. While you get a lot of coverage, the app/system is very basic in router mode. No DHCP reservations, only 8 ports can be forwarded and no port range forwarding either, no webadmin so you can only use the mobile app to access those functions. Even in bridge mode it has a DHCP server running so people have found it's double NAT'ing.

Sending mine back, but this would suit a basic user that just wanted strong signal all round their property. I will say that the whole pairing process of the satellite hubs was so much smoother than the Linksys Velop system

Can you explain how this works with the free Tenda Nova MW6. I know the the pack of 3 are basic what I need is a gigabit connection to the router I don't care less about the satellites as there will be nothing actually plugged into them. All my home is wired and I have a TP-Link Archer ac 1900 router which I've had for years, that's in our bedroom but in the kitchen by the window wifi is intermittent it's always been like that. my issue is as the missis spends a lot of time in the kitchen she uses her iPad and the signals hit and miss, the kitchen and bathroom are the opposite side of the house as far away from the router as possible. What I want to be able to do is make sure she has the best wifi possible as she watches a lot of fitness videos both in the kitchen and in the bath.

I've checked the coverage myself with my iPhone and because of the distance I find my iPhone switching between 4g and my home wifi. Will these be good for just decent wifi in the kitchen or is it worth getting something better. Obviously with most of the house cabled in I don't need to be plugging tvs into the satellites I just need a dependable wifi signal. Money isn't the object I just don't need bells and whistles.

Thanks

I also got the eBuyer deal.

Plugged the MW6 in first to update the firmware via Ethernet. Was pretty straightforward. Once done, I also plugged in the MW3 via ethernet to again update the firmware. Note that I left the MW6 connected. In the Tenda App, I set up the MW3 as a separate network. Once the firmware completed updating, I just unbounded the "test" network and added the MW3 to the actual network I created for the MW6 as an additional node.

Repeat for the additional MW3's. Although my house is fairly small, I set up all four to ensure I had full coverage. I've also got it setup in Bridge mode which someone has already mentioned the loss in some functionality but it does what I need, which is no dead spots and good WiFi for my outdoor Ring cameras!

Hope this makes sense

What speeds do you get? With the MW6 as primary node combined with MW3 as secondary i get lower speeds than if all MW3 or all MW6. Running latest firmware

I just did a speedtest connected to the MW6.

I'm on Virgin Media with 200mb and I got 182mbps down and 20mbps up.

I'll have to test the MW3's later.

If it's anything like it's little brother the MW3 it'll be absolutely fantastic.. and I've heard nothing but really good stuff across the tenda range to be honest with you.
Will these work with the super hub 3, just want to use the same WiFi network round the house, not have a new one etc.

I need the ports on the SH3 so can’t use modem mode either...

Sent mine back after a few weeks and bought a TP-Link mesh set instead.

They really slowed down my internet regardless of which node I was connected to and sadly the Tenda support team were pretty helpful but ultimately couldn't explain it.
A 40meg connection coming in to the house was running at 6meg by the time Tenda's devices repeated it around the house.

How do you have it setup with the super hub?

So I've just disabled both of the WiFi networks on the superhub.

On the Tenda, you can't enable/disable a particular frequency though so it sort of works itself out whether to let your device connect with 2.4 or 5ghz.

Oh ok, might have to give them a try! I’ll just keep the same WiFi name but probably have to connect every device again
They are great for the cash. We have a pretty big house and all the WiFi extenders I tried were hopeless. I bought 2 of these packs from PC World on impulse as I was fed up losing signal.
The first set died as soon as I set it up which didn’t give me confidence but PC World took it back for a full refund even though I lost the receipt 😬
The second pack was set up in 5 mins and has been flawless for 3 weeks. I get 50-150 mbs download speed.
I was expecting to use 2 packs due to the size of the house but will stick with one as it seems good enough - no dead spots yet. I will probably but another pack if they drop further in price.
Recommended.
Ps I am in no way technical and found it easy to set up

If you disable the old SSID and configure the new one, you should be okay.

My existing setup had a separate SSID for each frequency so I had to reconnect everything.
I have 200mb virgin broadband. Brought the ebuyer deal couple weeks ago. Primary node gives 220mb through speed check downstairs. Upstairs I'm getting around 100 and that's connected to the secondary nodes mw3

Does anyone know the setting on how to foward the internet connection automatically to whichever room you walk into? I'm finding my phone will still be connected to the primary node downstairs whilst I'm upstairs and that's affecting the speed

I have got 4 of these and they are the next best thing after a sliced bread. I can't believe it that I did not know about this technology before and put up with an unreliable Netgear extender for so long.

I'm a basic user and found them really easy to setup. Due to where I live in Durham my fibre connection is pitiful so I can't comment on whether it's throttling my speed. Blackspots are gone, and I've kept my Powerline network for wired devices.

I did have some issues with my WiFi Canon printer - something to do with it not working if your device (laptop) was on a different node. Yet to find a satisfactory workaround.

Mine does the same. My phone will be talking to one on the middle floor even if I’m top floor and next to that one. Doesn’t seem to be affecting speeds for me though so I haven’t looked into it.

Mw6 was on sale at Amazon for £110 last week.
Have the MW3 system in my house perfect WiFi
This is deceiving. This is not an met triple pack. 2 of the nodes are mw5s, hopefully the missing Lan port is the only difference.
Got the MW3 (£60 from Currys) and it works like a charm.

This is the mw5 the next model up in the range.

Yes
Forgive my ignorance but if I get this can I get rid of my ISP provided (fairly awful) router and just swap this out for it? Thanks.
