I don't have a clue. Research it? The m4's all have 2 ethernet posts. Dunno about the other one

Can I keep the old router name and password in modem mode when I set up this mesh. If I do this will I need to change all my WiFi enabled door bell etc WiFi and passwords in other words will everything carry on as normal. Or will I have to reset all my equipment and enter new password etc.
hope this makes sense.

my mw6 have never crashed, but my mums deco m4 has crashed a few times. i dont understand the criticise of the tenda wifi app,. i think it has the exact same features as the deco. using speed test is also flawed, to get an accurate speed test im sure you have to send a large file over the home network and not over the internet..
Whats the difference between this and the Tenda MW6 Nova AC1200 Whole Home Wi-Fi Mesh System (Pack of 3) features and performance wise.

Don't under your question. This is the mw6 3 pack
I have 1 mw6 with 3 additional mw3 units and it works flawlessly. Never crashed for me. I only use 2 of the mw3's and don't really need them as the mw6 is really powerful and pretty much fills the house with wifi by itself. I have a couple of external blink cameras so the mw3's just keep them on a good signal.
I'd I didn't have my current setup I would snap this up.

This is a good mesh network for the price I've not had any crashes or dropouts.
Had this system for a week now. Its a breeze to set up and the coverage is brilliant. No more dead spots in the house. I even get wifi in the garage and down at the bottom of the garden.

It has 2 x 1GB ethernet ports. 1 port for its LAN connection, and 1 port for its WAN connection (connect to your router)

Sorry for coming back on this but just to confirm, can one plug a CAT5 cable in each of the nodes to avoid losses

Yes you can from what I have read. The Ethernet handles the backhaul.
