Only av10000, I have av2000 for last 4 years

I honestly look out for your same comment on every powerline extender deal and without fail you do not let me down!
These are crap and I recommend people don't buy this product. It has a power saving mode that you can't turn off, this feature slows the unit down to about 4mbps due to little to no network activity. To get it to go back to full speed, pretty much every day I have to turn it off and back on again.

Also the wifi is 2.4ghz.

The non-wifi version is only £20 for a pack of two as well. Both bargains.
Bought the non WiFi twin back thanks op
2.4 gHz wifi only so not modern dual band. Not voting either way.

I have the 4 of the PH6 version and yes, they do this, quickest way is to restart the plug connected directly to the router to restore full speed to them all again, thankfully I don't need to restart them individually!

They shouldn't do this... You shouldn't have to do this... I'm going to flog mine and get a decent set.

Is that 10,000 mbps versus your measly 2,000?

Quite a humble comment to suggest you're content with less, good on ya

Not sure yet, looking at some cheap tp-link ones. I'm after just basic WiFi ones under £35. They seem to come up on offer every now again so just a waiting game.

Looked through all the supporting documents and can't see this anywhere. It does say power saving feature but nothing more?

It says it on the box that it has a power saving feature, but in the firmware portal etc. there's no way of turning this off, and I have first hand experience of the issue so I can assure you that it throttles the unit.

If you have a look through all the low rated Amazon reviews you'll see people of complaining about the same problem.

Buy it if you like, but i'd suggest not. I'm not saying i'm a technical wizard but i've worked in IT now for 15yrs so I can spot the issue.

Ok, thanks for the info. Do you know if this also happens if used on LAN or is it purely a wifi issue?
