Been after a network switch for a while and this looks a pretty sweet deal considering it has gigabit ports. Heat added
does this support POV?

No PoE

Good price for a metal shell gigabit switch. Was after a switch recently and went for the TP Link TL SG1005D as all cables go out the back.
Any good offers for 16 or ideally 24 ports available in gigabit?
Every time I see these posted I want to buy one but don't have any use for it. Can anyone suggest ?

If you haven't run ethernet cables through your house and you have a broadband router with four switched ports not all of which are in use then I really can't.

Nah only two ports (stupid Sky router). But what I don't want is to have another device permanently plugged into a power socket just to feed the extra Ethernet port I would like to have but still can just use Wi-Fi instead (ps4).

Sounds like you might be better off getting a different router in that case because if Sky are tight enough to save money by only giving you two Ethernet ports I would imagine the rest of the router probably isn't the greatest either. The BT Home Hub 5 is unlockable to use with a different ISP and are available for very little money. Four ethernet ports. Just a thought.
Wired is much better than wi-fi ..... faster, stabler, and less prone to slow downs . Your Kill ratio WILL increase by 30%, possibly even 66.6%. Power usage on these things is v low. Your PS4 power usage might increase by more as it feeds the wi-fi part straining to get a signal........
