Rubbish it doesn't work wasted money off of these

Bought it last year for a bit cheaper.

I was very doubtful that it'd work but for £5 I thought why not.

It's basically transformed our internet coverage to a room upstairs & the kitchen which were the 2 rooms furthest away from the router.

Delighted with it
Biggest waste of money since best of both bread. I tried everything with one of these, thinking I'd had a bargin. It talks a good talk but in reality if your walls are any thicker than cardboard then it is useless. I reckon the cloning is funny about the parent router so some people might get a result with it. Odds are you wont and even though it's only £5.99 make sure you buy paracetamol to deal with the headache.

My personcal experiance led me to conclujde that £5.99 is a lot to pay to see how far you can throw something.

I can only speak from our experience of it.

But I think the 1st reply is more to do with a lockdown frustration
I've took the plunge and ordered. See how it is once it's delivered

Should I buy one of these instead of a set of home plugs
Pity you can't use PayPal. That's the reason I haven't bought one.

Yes you can?
With these, "if" they work, what's be people found any degradation on their WiFi when it's connected? I just need to boost my WiFi a little to get it out into the garage - it doesn't need to be super speedy.

What are box like for returns if these don't work?
got one a while ago, works great, no effect on the other signals still get over 200 speeds on other devices.

No real reason to use paypal with box. They're very reputable and trustworthy. I've spent a ton of money with them over the years.

Wrecks me too that. Don't mind when it's something that can't be put in the post but something like this is the same price to post anywhere in the UK
Ordered this last time it was posted has extended our Wi-fi into back of the house and even into the garden heat added
box.co.uk/dev…tml This one gets far better review and still £12.99. Amy one used this one before?
Ordered 2 one for each end of the house just in case if its crap distance selling law means i can return it.
Been using one for a few months .
It works , only just !
Increases the speeds by a couple of meg .
Its done the job for me as my Blink camera on the side of my house works OK now .
How is this one free delivery but the £12.99 isn’t? Trying to charge me £2.95

indeed its even more ridiculous when you consider i am getting a 65" tv delivered today for £ 40 and thats taking two men to lift......must be an awful big wifi extender careful this doesnt pull your walls down folks
would this work with a Vodafone mobile internet dongle?
Wi-fi Range extenders are a waste of time. While your signal strength may appear full again, due to the way it works, the speed will be halved most likely.

Better off getting a power line adapter set that comes with a Wi-fi adapter and set it’s adapter to use a different WiFI channel to your main router.

I got the power line WiFi extender from Box.co, a deal a few days ago, it arrived withing 48hrs. Excellent service and the product works perfectly, even thought you are not recommended to plug them in at the end of a long extension ( which I have) to get wifi to my shed.
