Rarely do we get 4K releases sub £10 but here we are, Tenet for £8! Last week I posted the Blu-Ray going for £4.50 and it's still available.
With the 4K, the product page states Blu-Ray in the title but the barcode, images and RRP match that of the 4K and as I've covered, the Blu-Ray is listed separately.
Proven by the many comments on the Blu-Ray post, it's a very marmite film but love or hate, it's good looking marmite in 4K

Yes he does. Not sure why he doesn't stick to black and white pictures too. Or better still silent black and white movies!".
I hear all these comments about pushing the envelope and using the best Imax cameras etc but not going atmos these days and sticking with 5.1 seems old fashioned when it can add so much extra to a film. He also purposely makes the dialog difficult to follow/hear clearly. Again Im not sure why even after he tried to explain it. His films would be ideal candidates for ATMOS sound.
Still I think he won award's for some of the sound in his films
Good price for an above average film.
Plus you can turn subtitles on/off and adjust the volume levels with a disc!
Well then at least he could get that right.
Most reviews say the sound mixing is terrible on this.
He may deal going with IMAX for exclusivity
But yeah i find the dialogue annoying in this movie, I get the muffled Dialogue with Bane in batman he's wearing a physical mask it will restrict the speech and make it mumbly but Tenet i had to watch with Subtitles in some parts so I could figure stuff out and i have a Soundbar with Sub/5.1 system and still couldn't decipher the dialogue in parts
4K has the capacity to add additional Audio tracks so why not have it as an option labelled Mumbly Speech or Clear speech
What if I could help you to unwatch it?
here this may help
Exactly!
Can you fast forward this rewinding device?
and then Elizabeth Debicki says "Including my son"
! No it’s ok, everyone except your son will die!
I facepalmed at that. It's as bad as a poorly acted death near the end of Dark Knight Rises.
I think they were trying to show she didn't care about her own life. That all she cared about was her son, being there for him. That she endured endless torment from Branaghs character so that she could continue being a mother to her boy.
Instead it made her sound dumb.
I really struggled in the cinema.
Surprisingly at home on a 3.1 system it was easier. Kept the subtitles but rarely needed them.
Could be they tempered the sound a little when mastering for home viewing. Or maybe the lack of surround speakers was a plus!

Whose death at the end of DKR?
These comments are too funny
Terrible movie because you didn't understand it
It’s a great movie if you understand it.
But nobody understands it
Well, I did. Stick to Fast & Furious.
Wow. Well done you.
I make fun of the film and you attempt to make fun of me. Again, well done you.
Not really, you came out with a pretty stupid statement. 7.4 on IMDB by the way.
It was a light-hearted joke (again, about the film, not you) based on many, MANY comments on previous hukd postings of this deal from people stating they didn’t understand the film. (Seriously, check a handful of threads and it’s full of them.)
I’m unsure why my comment made you feel like you needed to try to insult me. Unless of course ‘Stick to Fast and Furious’ was banter of course…
Thank you for the clarification and many apologies for causing offence 🙏

Just think how much better it would be with Atmos added unless you don't think atmos works. What clues are we missing.
He's an absolute plum, Nolan. It's like he doesn't want anyone to hear what people are saying. WTAF?!
Agreed. I watched the bluray using my studio grade speakers and it was trash. Subtitles on throughout.
It genuinely doesn't.
