How is this in terms of quality? Haven’t played a tennis game since Virtua tennis 2 on Dreamcast

Those were the days
I tried the demo as I love top spin on the ps3 and thought this was poor
It's ok.

If I remember correctly, the "Roland Garros Edition" is just some extra characters/skins/locations, and still the TWT base game.
I’ve not played it, but been looking for a good tennis game. Found this review under best Xbox tennis games as most games have been poor recently.

At launch, Tennis Word Tour wasn’t great. It was unfinished, basically, with an abundance of issues. You couldn’t even play online. Since then, however, improvements have been made, and now it’s not too bad if you want a serious game of tennis. It’s still disappointing as a spiritual successor to the excellent Top Spin series, though.

Featuring a decent career mode in which you create your own player and lead them to greatness, pick up Tennis World Tour if you want a proper game of tennis and aren’t too worried about some rough edges. The basic version of the game can be picked up relatively cheap now, while the Roland-Garros Edition is more expensive but comes with a wealth of DLC.

As far as serious tennis games go on Xbox One, Tennis World Tour is probably the best, but it’s still far from being the game it could have been.
Does this play more like Virtua tennis or top spin

Say it was a combination of both
To be fair I’m pretty sure the game without rolan Garros is 3.99 on PSN store
Good deal but AO Tennis 2 is a much better game.

365games have AO Tennis 2 for £29 on PS4 if anyone is interested. Metacritic user score is 7.4 so seems like a fairly average game but could satisfy those seeking the Tennis itch!
I'd give anything for a brilliant tennis game but it doesn't seem like one exists. I haven't played either but have heard that AO Tennis 2 has better gameplay than this but annoyingly doesn't have as many licenced players, whereas this has some better licencing but the gameplay is quite mediocre.
Good find @Alexevo94 and a belated welcome to hotukdeals
