Edit. This is now £75.62.

This seems like a great price for a cracking BBQ. This was previously £124.00

This is the new version of the Toronto the reviews for the old version are great if you look on amazon. The difference between the old and new version is the new version is click together rather than all screws.

Here's a link yo the old version which at the moment is £123.55 you can see it's the same bbq and can read the reviews.

I've just had it arrive. Its a lot bigger and heavier than I thought in the box which is a good thing I think.

Ridiculously good BBQ. Highly recommended. Heat
Very good barbecue. Got the old version and all the screws were a pain, but very sturdy when put together.

Thanks mate, that's handy
I'd been looking at a very similar BBQ in The Range for £130, only difference being that it has a wee chimney which I guess helps with smoking your food, and the thermostat is missing?

Looking at the Tepro product page, this seems to be otherwise identical, even down to the tray for your smoking wood chips:
tepro-gmbh.de/en/…-1/

The Tepro page says it's patented, but with so many similar models kicking about on Amazon and in shops, I wonder what part of it is patended?
I have the old one, and it looks very sturdy, i have not tried it yet as i always try and purchase off season.

Anyone recommend a particular charcoal or is it all much of a muchness?
I use lumpwood as I find it easier to get going, but I think briquettes are supposed to hold their heat for longer. Although, I have a chimney starter now, so maybe that'd make getting briquettes started easier?

Folk have recommended Big K to me in the past, but don't think I've ever bought a bag of it. I usually seek out the cheapest per KG, often from Aldi/Lidl. I bought a few bags of lumpwood from Home Bargains cheap at the end of last season, so this year I'll find out if A. I stored it properly, and B. if it's rubbish.

Just edited the price as its gone down a small amount to £75.62
Had this delivered today (thanks op).

Tool a couple of hours to build but unfortunately it seems mine had a fault where the coal height could not be adjusted all the way to the top. Really frustrating as I'm now going to have to sort out an exchange with amazon and its a huge box!
Anybody know what size of grid in grid accessories the Toronto takes? Is it 57cm?

I found a link to the instruction manual on the Amazon product page in the features section:
images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/ima…pdf

English section starts on page 20, but doesn't seem to mention or picture the grid in grid feature at all?

I'd like to try the pizza accessory too. I've still not put it up yet but with the lid down I assume it would go hot enough.

Why does it keep coming down by pennies!?
