Shame its not the Skynet Edition with the better quality transfer

I was gonna ask was this the one with the poor quality transfer, so cheers for that Money well saved!

i would recommend splashing out a bit more and getting the sky net edition. much better picture, 3 different versions of the film and not to mention all the special feature

This site never ceases to amaze me - this transfer to bluray is DIRE, you'd be better off with the Skynet Edition or the DVD - how did this get hot??

This is not a hotdeal at all - terrible transfer

DO NOT buy - pay a little more for the skynet edition people

have to agree with skynet edition.
i paid £7 off tesco website 6 or so mths back after seeing it advertised on here.
well worth the extra couple quid.

avsforum.com/avs…342 this site is good for any bluray reference's on PQ

Voted cold because it's genuinely not worth the money - and usually i'd only vote if it's the cheapest price.

Transfer is awful, simply awful.

Yeah agreed get the skynet version (:

best terminator movie this one!

Currently at 251 degrees, but this is a bad transfer and therefore a poor deal. Just goes to show how flawed the temperature gimmick is and no way of knowing whether something is actually a deal or not.

The best deal is the Skynet version of this movie, as many comments here testify. This is currently going cheap @ Tesco. Lookie what we got here!

Still good for a 26 year old film, shame about T3 Rise of the Machines.........oh and Terminator Salvation.............OH GOD, and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.........

Bought this for 2.99 from Blockbuster a while back and although I like the movie the Bluray was v poor. DVD quality visuals and didnt even have subs!!

the temperature is not a gimmick, its a useful indicator! Thats why there is a comments section, Im sure anyone who reads the above comments will get the idea.

Frankly, if anyone purchases items solely based on the temperature then more fool them!

Not sure what has happened here - lots of weird deals have been receiving unprecendented heat since the HDUK revamp. And not many have gone HOT. This one did... why anyone would want this poor transfer 'vanilla' version is beyond me.
Take the advice - stump up a few quid more for the SKYNET edition. Currently cheapest delivered is £8.47 @ Tesco Entertainment (plus using the code will make it cheaper)

26 years...think not!! 19 more like. (1991).

I looked at that comment and thought it was just me - 26 years.... crumbs - you're making me feel old.
Is that the answer google told you it came out because you weren't born when T2 was around?

I DEFINENTLY WAS OLDER THAN 3.:>

According to the almighty PQ thread on AVS, even the Skynet version's picture quality is still pretty poor (bronze rating as opposed to coal).

EDIT: Although when I read a couple of the reviews that the rating was based on, they both gave high marks for picture and sound quality.
