Thats FIFTEEN HOURS of viewing robots and mayhem!, Whats not to love?! Incredible!!!!

It's an amazing show and I think season one is going for 6.99 on Amazon and maybe even play, (havent looked it up again yet). Pretty good value it must be said, grab it while it's on folks!

Picking up where TERMINATOR 2 - JUDGEMENT DAY left off, THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES continues the epic battle of man against machine. Having successfully defeated one Terminator in the previous film, Sarah (Lena Headey, RIPLEY'S GAME) realises that the world is no longer a safe place for her or her teenage son John (Thomas Dekker, TV's HEROES). So she makes it their mission to bring down Skynet, the artificial intelligence system responsible for causing all this robo-mayhem. But how do you outmanoeuvre an ever-evolving technology that's hell-bent on wiping out the entire human race? With great difficulty, it turns out. Not only are they being hunted by a bunch of time-travelling, renegade cyborgs, but they're also on the run from the law. Salvation comes in the form of a human-friendly Terminator named Cameron (Summer Glau, SERENITY), who befriends John and serves as their protector. FBI Agent James Ellison, who is originally assigned to capture the Connors, ends up joining their resistance against Cyberdyne Corporation, the company behind Skynet. This release presents every episode from the second series of the sci-fi spinoff.

I don't love the fact that they cancelled this show

..........it was my favourite thing on TV at the time

Me to! I watched it every week without fail

The first series was pretty good but the second series meandered, until they realised they were about to get cancelled then the last few episodes where excellent. I loved the time travel twist at the end but it was too little too late.

yeah, i think the twist at the end was a last desperate ploy to try and get renewed, but it wasn't to be.

got the first season on blu, and will probably pick up the second on blu too, next time zavvi knock the price down

Excellent show, I agree with alll the comments that it was very short sighted for it to be axed.
It was nice that they let them finish the series off though so it has a good start and end.

Everytime I see a thumbnail of the cover for this it always looks like MGS4 on first glance.

It makes you wonder why the creators don't see the pattern:

Make a good show.
Show becomes popular:
Show has lots of viewers.
Let's milk it as long as we can now that we have lots of viewers. Let's start with storylines going off on tangents, and have really convoluted rubbish side stories.
Viewers lose interest.
Show is cancelled.

Obvious to everybody but them, it seems...

Good price, wanting it this cheaper on blu ray tho, first season was good

Slippy Sloppy

That about sums it up...

actually, been a while since I saw this, so maybe I was thinking about Joss Whedon's 'Dollhouse'. This also meandered week-to-week and only really showed what it could (and should) have been in the last couple of episodes.
