Good spec for the price, and seems to be the lowest anywhere for a 2 bay enclosure with these features

I dare say the Celeron would be better, especially as it has 2gb, rather than 512mb. Not saying its better software wise, but specs of the terramaster are better.
I have the 5 bay version of this and its great. Ive got 3 of the bays filled up so far with 3x8TB drives and will add to it in the future when needs must

Can either of these run a 4K Plex server?
I've been running Xpenology on one of these for 12 months now with no problems, I also upgraded the ram to 4gb, running plex without any problems works ok with 4k but transcoding 4k not so good

Does any NAS Plex server transcode 4k well?
Good deal but is it ever worth buying one of these if you have a few free PCs in the loft? They seem quite weak CPUs and RAM as they do a simple job. Anyone got advice on the pros and cons of making a NAS vs. buying a premade one

Look at their power consumption and compare annual running costs.
