True, but if you buy it instore you get the advantage of instant ownership.. I ordered my copy from Amazon on 27th August and I haven't even had a dispatch confirmation yet.. :-(

Fair point. of course, you do have to get yourself to a Tesco store (not convenient for me), rather than getting it delivered to your door.

It surprises me that Amazon are being so tardy in shipping your copy - hopefully you'll not be waiting too much longer. My copy's on its way from Wordery, via a Flubit instant offer (which came in cheaper than a demand, counter-intuitively!)

Thanks Illusionary, I'm guessing that Amazon are just overloaded with orders.. But it sounds as though you have a reasonable chance of getting your copy tomorrow .. I can't think of a better way of spending a Bank Holiday .. :-)

Voted hot by the way, and I'm not really sure why this is getting cold votes..

same price in WHsmith.

Let's see what BeatMyPrice have to say about this!

Ahh... Of course... You are right, I guess it's sad but true... Maybe I should just be grateful the trolls aren't busy pointing out all the faults in the story and how much better author xxx would have done it ..

I'm still waiting for a dispatch email from Amazon .. :-(

Must be a mistake in your local as I bought this for my bf and it had a label on the shelf for £10

Just asked for it at Asda and they said they didn't have it yet! ( They are doing 3 books for £20 though)
