A good price for this FAMILY tent with two sleeping compartments and standing height porch (for the occasional family trips.) Probably sleeps 4 comfortably rather than 6.

Internally it has a porch with clear view windows and insect netting, a living area and 2 sleeping areas that each sleep 3 people. It has a sun protection factor of 30+ and a waterproof rating of 1500mm"

Total Width 560 cm / Depth 245 cm/ Height 205 cm
Living area is 180cm wide (by 245cm deep)

Is this a deal??
I'm not that well informed on tents, but I do know that I got an 8 man tent from tesco recuded from £85 to £20!!
£60 for this seems rather expensive, although as a 6' 5" guy, I reckon the standing room would be great :-)

I'll reserve judgement til I see more comments

Links?
Rather than just voting cold, I'd be interested to know if people could recommend a better 6/8 man tent with standing room.

I am after a 6man (or very roomy 4 man ) tent myself. I've just ordered this one but will return it if someone can improve upon this!

looks good to me

I didn't vote cold, I said I'd reserve judgement. Everyone else is voting cold!

This is the one I got at xmas. It came back in stock for the same price a few weeks ago but didnt last very long...]http//ww…sc/

Looks about right for the size, money wise, but is it going to rip an the poles snap?

Argos have a few reduced tents at the moment too. I reckon they won't stay cheap for long what with the days getting sunnier.

I agree that these prices wont hold. I looked at the argos ones, but they were only 140cm high - fine for most people, but not my Mrs!

At least I have faith in the Tesco returns policy if it does fall apart (but hopefully it wont)

Got to say cold from me...
It's not a BAD price for a 6 man, but the quality will be poo...
]THIS ONE is obviously pricier, but if you intend to take the family away this year, spend the 30 quid more, and get the Vango one.
I bought this exact model last year...takes 5 mins to put up, proper bath tup ground sheet, double skinned, it doesn't leak... we can stand, cook, store stuff in it...
For 30 pounds more, it's a far better tent.

Good tent, but this only has one sleeping compartment although the porch does allow standing.

I have picked mine up and can confirm that the living area is 180cm wide and 245cm deep, which is plenty wide enough for most tasks. Really pleased with it so far ( will be testing it next weekend) and will offer a full report.

I am afraid to report back that it was indeed poor quality.

I tried to put it up in force 5 winds which was a challenge, especially with a screaming 1 year old and a grumpy Mrs. It takes 2 people to pitch!
The construction quality was poor (holes in seams which you can see daylight through, seam tape obstructing the zips, loose ends of threads all over the shop). The stitching on the Inner tent hooks/ anchors was also stretched to the max when I hung the inner tent inside.

In comparison to the Decathlon tents Ive had, this was also a real pain to put up. And you'll never get it back in the bag again (although I believe this is common with most tent bags)

It went back to Tescos on Monday. Not even worth £20 in my opinion.

I shall now look for an adult 4-6 berth tent (possibly the Decathlon brand again)....

Thanks to all who tried to warn me!
