and? I am not selling it Tesco is, blame them! Good deal though
Even though it is October, I doubt you would be required to put the tree up straight away. Anyway, I'm off to Sainsbury's to stock up on Easter eggs.

good "investment"?
We’ve had our tree up since mid june lol
Good price, heat!... and early season prices can be better than nearer to Christmas, so don't really know why people bemoan such a post.

Too small for me though.

FFS, wait til december tesco's sainsbury's and anyone else having xmas sales. This is getting ridiculous and ruining xmas!
Original Poster
why should we wait so the shops can hike their prices? i bet this tree will not be offered at this price for long. Its the same as people buying stuff in the January sales for christmas?

I work at a supermarket warehouse, and Easter eggs arrive in on Boxing Day! To be picked and sent to store!!
" Pull-down branches with hook assembly. Easy slot together pieces & stand"

Why to buy it, when you can buy a tree which doesn't need to be assembled?

so its easier to store away!?
hot deal op, we need a new one, I'd rather buy things a few months in advance, couple of bits a month, than spend loads in December all at once!

Snap CoreyCatCupcakes1987, Not only that, an artificial tree lasts a long time, natural ones are kept for a month or two then thrown out. To me, its more Eco friendly having a non natural one (Even though the making the tree is not Eco friendly as growing one). They could last around 10/15 years and not harm the environment (over all)
I think I bought this last year. Was good for £15
Just got one.. I bought the 7ft Luxury one yesterday at £50.00 but they are out of stock now.
Probably last years left over stocks or returns.

Indeed, our £25 Tesco Finest 8ft beast that we got thanks to here for £25 2 years ago is still going strong.
Indeed, personal choice fake v real but last year I threw away the tree passed down to me from my from my parents, who brought from Harrods in 1982!! Fakes can last a very long time if you look after them well.
Hi i just ordered this tree at 12.00 (15/10/13) i had an email alert when it was in stock, thought was a bargain price xx
thanks, ordered
Just wondered, when I read the Tesco product specifications it mentions a power source as transformer! Can someone whose got theirs have a look and let me know if it is prelit or something! Thanks it's a good buy anyway OP.
Looks good for our No2 tree in the Dining room. The self assembly bit might be interesting! I've ordered one anyhow. Can't be pre lit at that price. An error on the details I presume. Heat added
Cheers

Yes this is what I was wondering!
Pull down branches with hook assembly - Is it possible to have both? I thought that pull down branches were generally hinged and not hooked?
John Lewis and M&S have their trees up already ...
