Just the tesco basic value range still cheap thou

Cheapest Steam Iron I could find at tesco direct was this Tesco Value IR08 Steam Iron priced at £3.84. That deal's probably store specific. It's a good price, but I doubt its nationwide must be the store trying to get rid of the stock as its discontinued, anyway good price, and great if anyone finds it.

Yeh no probs , only up the road from me
send your address a'll post it for you if you want one

HOT (if you plug it in) !!!

Cheap but I've always found these are pretty poor quality and leak water easily. Better to pay for a quality iron, I say.

Port Toon!!!!

true , but for £1.10 you cant complain

I iron regularly and these irons are ****, they leak water all over the place and are completely inadequate..

Please dont buy....

Yip the wife bought one of these 8 years ago and it still going strong, :w00t: and even more surprosing I have used it more than once :whistling:

stay aware from these they are carp.Bought one 2 weeks ago as our regular iron packed in,and like other posters have said it leaks like a champion-the actual ironing surface is small more like a travel iron, and our one packed in after 10 days, after ruining several items of clothing in that time frame

probably blow up in your face lol

Leaks more than my 6 month old daughter. Avoid.

But will be perfect for ironing hama beads (as that's all mine gets used for anyway!!!!!) as you don't need the steam for those!

yes they do leak but so what? as long as you select the lowest steam setting its fine, been using mine for 4 years now and its still going strong.
Its hardly the most complicated piece of harware - metal plate that heats up!

I bought one of these a few months ago and had no problem with it.
I don't actually use water in it though so cannot comment on the leaking.

I've had a wilko basic one that cost about £5, for 4 years it does leak a little bit but it does the job just fine

I agree, they are pants and leak water. Took ours back yesterday and bought a Sainsbury's Basics model instead. Well worth the extra £2!

£3.34 in Ipswich so looks like it is store specific
