Hi which tesco? And what the model of TV can't see it? Thanks
Already posted 2 days ago
Bought one of theses a few weeks ago, good sound but remote control was faulty, seems a common problem with this model.

All Tesco will have them , will be a Sharp LC-40FI5242KF or very similar , decent TV imo , got one for a family memeber last year and has held up well
Anyone know the model?

Edit : just saw the comment above

1080p?

Yup. Saw the same one in Sainsbury’s for £229 the other day.
Sorry for kinda off-topic, but why can't I find a link (or any reviews) for the Tesco 49" Toshiba for £265?? Was stood there looking for reviews and failed.... Cant find any links to BF 49" tesco deals. Is the HUKD search tool broken?
It's this model 40fg2241kf

This is the one in Tesco at £179.

Bought one this morning in Reading, they had around 17 in stock. For the price I can't complain. Not the worlds best picture or sound but it's perfectly acceptable as a spare TV.

I bagged one of the two that were left on shelf (on another shelf away from the others) so will update as to what I think as soon as set up, although depends if the deal continues this weekend as to whether my findings mean anything to anyone lol. £179 for 40” 1080p seems too good to pass up and not at least try. Can always return I guess but it is for a bedroom.

Hmm putting that model number into google just now basically no info comes up. The model doesn't seem to exist. Anyone else have better luck?

Bodes the question where does this model come from.

Well here you have it, a couple of pics from a random 1080p vid on the built in YouTube app...... most impressive I must say. First solid bargain I’ve had in a while and that’s without tinkering with colour settings. Sound seemed nice and clear too, in fact you could be fooled into thinking you were in a spa.

Certainly looks as impressive as my 55” Sony in the lounge which cost over 4 times as much (admittedly over a year old now). Safe to say I’d have been pleased with it paying pre-black Friday price of £279.
Ended up getting this and returning the aldi one, definitely worth the extra £49.01... But anyone got any tips on how to improve the picture? It tends to be a bit "grainy" at times

We bought one too and the quality is way superior to what I was expecting. Seems a really good tv for the money.
Great buy, I purchased the little brother from curry’s, 32 inch 720p HD. See this in Tesco for £10 more, and soon returned the baby brother to curry’s! This is a steal, full HD smart tv, 40 inch. Great buy
Could anyone with this measure the size needed for it to stand on, i.e. the width of the feet? Wondering if I will need a new stand for this as my current tv is not as big. Many thanks.
I make it 31 inches at the feets widest point ..(78/79) cms. I think it's a very nice picture and sound and very easy to set up. A bargain .
just picked up one from stourbridge (looked like last one, checked at dudley and cradley saw none).

thanks op and heated

Thanks.
Just picked one up in local Ramsbottom store. One left now!
LLa care tesco este stie cineva adresa
None left in Airdrie, Coatbridge and Bellshill. If anyone sees one local give me a shout.
Just picked one up from the Metro in Ramsbottom. Thanks to @bethwarrinermusic. The lady in there said they don't normally stock TVs so she was surprised they had them. We nearly missed it though- it's right in the entrance and we walked straight past. Looks like they can only stock two at a time on the stand so there was 1 left when we left but might be more in back.

If you're looking to get a cheap 42" 4K tv the cheapest I could find after this deal was this one;

hotukdeals.com/dea…683

It arrived this morning while I was at work so not checked it out yet but for the price looks fine.

It is a 2 pin cable, sometimes known as a C7 cable.
