Hey folks,

I've just had my winter tyres fitted and never even knew about this deal which is in association with Blackcircles and Tesco
You all know Blackcircles is the best place to head to for best priced tyres and also includes fitting, balancing at your nominated garage etc

Offer includes:
Pirelli
Yokohama
Hankook

Don't forget Quidco and TopCashBack

This deal allows you to get the tyres with Blackcircles but gives you an amazing 4x the value in points back WOW !

Wish I had known about this before ordering but hey ho!

With Winter coming and people fitting new tyres I hope someone has benefit of this with the extra points

Happy Fitting

There is also a deal if you buy 4 Winter Tyres from Hankook by typing in Winter 25, but this isn't available with the points deal

blackcircles is not cheaper, it will usually be more expensive than going direct to the garage.
As all they effectively do is add a commission on.

Try it, get a quote, find the local garage, phone them and get a quote direct, and be surprised

True.... I have always found Camskill to be the cheapest 'online' retailer. Not the most elegant website but it works.

Not voted either way....
Never had winter tyres on my car

thinking of them as it looks like its be a cold but late winter..
can I wear them all year or do I need to remvoe them come late spring etc.. or Should I remove them?

Is the above rrp from kwik fit right>? they charge £114 for each winter tyres? shocking!

Yes you can wear Winter Tyres all year round

It's Snow tyres that your meant to take off when summer arrives, there much softer and wear quickly on Tarmac
Thanks OP, I thought Costco were pretty good price but these are cheaper, Plus Tesco points, Heat added. Dont forget 2.57% TCB:)

I suppose if you ask the garage you might get them cheaper

But then it might just work out the same with topcashback/Quidco and the 4x value back in points
Always try camskill first!!!
lutherinlondon, I agree, I've had two sets of tyres from Camskill. Good choice, good price.

ACIDFORUMS. I've got ALL SEASON VREDESTEIN QUATRAC 2 on my Scooby which I got from Camskill, found them to be brill all year round.

Eh! What advantages do winter tyres have. My normal tyres seemed to do ok last winter in 9 inches of snow.

If you buy from Camskill you still have to lump the tyres into your car
and also pay for them to get fitted and balanced

I know my local Garage just won't put the tyres on for free lol

Can you pls provide some examples of winter and snow tyres? and difference between them? I'm using winter tyres all my life and never heard of snow tyres apart of those used at the rally but they are not legal on the normal roads.
I hope you were thinking about all weather tyres and not advising anyone to use winter/snow/call them as you like tyres during the summer so they breaking distance will be 4x longer than on summer tyres?

I just called the Garage as a bogus order and they said they would have to order the tyres themselves at the same price as what Blackcircles would get them for

Can't remember where I read it mate, I was sure you got snow tyres and you have to take them off (when winter ice and snow has gone) as they wear down too fast if only driving on tarmac all the time (could have been something else)

Obviously Winter or Normal tyres would be the best

£210 for 195/50/15 if u buy four so good deal.
Depends where you life I suppose. blackcircles have always been the cheapest for me although if a local garage comes close enough then I will use them just for the convenience.
Winter tyres have a soft compound which will work all year round, but as previously mentioned wears faster in hot weather. I use mine from October through the begining of April. They also have better performance in temperatures under 10 degrees even without snow or ice. I've found black circles price to be fair when you factor in the hassle of getting the tyres delivered, finding a good price for fitting and taking them to the garage (also remember the price of tyre disposal). I agree with some of the other posters that the local garage may be cheaper for popular sizes that they order in bulk, but for larger low profile tyres, I found black circles had the same price as camskill, and the price of fitting was included.
I can't find where you enter the discount code for Blackcircles ? Anybody ?
