that said, it does seem a good deal.
Assuming it's a nominal 3.7V battery and the circuitry is 100% efficient this could only last a fraction over 1 hour at 1.5W output. The only practical use I can see for this is to put in your pillow if you want to listen to something at very low volume while you sleep.

Actually, 1.5 W will be the peak power of the speakers. Most of the time, even if you turn the volume up to max, the speaker isn't using the maximum power (as the music has dynamics), so you might achieve a few hours even at maximum volume, though 8 does seem optimistic.
I don't know about connecting 2, but why would you want to play n sync?... Surely there are better bands you listen to?.
