Defo not sold out, I've just bought one.

Also just bought two and got £2 off.

"features an attractive yellow design" - that is incorrect.

that said, it does seem a good deal.

I've seen them in-store for £8. A few different colours.

450mA battery. 1.5W output and lasts up to 8 hours.
Assuming it's a nominal 3.7V battery and the circuitry is 100% efficient this could only last a fraction over 1 hour at 1.5W output. The only practical use I can see for this is to put in your pillow if you want to listen to something at very low volume while you sleep.

Actually, 1.5 W will be the peak power of the speakers. Most of the time, even if you turn the volume up to max, the speaker isn't using the maximum power (as the music has dynamics), so you might achieve a few hours even at maximum volume, though 8 does seem optimistic.

Is there anything that makes this better than the other on ebay? The others at the same price seem to be a higher output wattge (louder?) and a slightly bigger battery. Can't see what the benefit of this is? Can you connect 2 at once to the same phone and have them play in sync?

I don't know about connecting 2, but why would you want to play n sync?... Surely there are better bands you listen to?.

Mine just came in, way louder than expected. WAY louder.

A lot of volume for a small speaker. Got one of these w/o packaging for £1.50 on clearance and also the BT1402 (£4.50). The BT1402 slightly edges this at 2x2w and has voice calling functionality. It also has slightly clearer sound too, in case anyone was interested.

Deal is still live.
