Just noticed this online - rarely on offer - currently £1.71 Sainsburys, £1.75 Asda.

At £1, cheaper than the same tin of Condensed Milk (this stuff is basically the Condensed Milk turned into caramel).

Awesome stuff...

I'm pretty sure it is.

It's one of those strange Tesco deals where there's no mention of it being reduced - no mention of the previous price - and no mention when the offer ends. I expect the shelf edge label will be just the normal white one (not yellow to indicate an offer).

Last year they suddenly changed the price of Carnation Condensed Milk cans to 50p in the same way - and it just randomly went back up to the normal price a week or so later!

Mmmmm Chocolate caramel shortbread.

No, you're thinking of Saga.

I went to Haven once. Full of yobs spitting, swearing, smoking, drinking, tattoos all over them - and that's just the women. Now I only go to more respectable establishments. Like Butlins.

Fab price - millionaire shortbread here we come!

Dolce de leche everywhere in Rio, yummy yummy yummy!

cheers for the post! Might be making a cheeky Banoffee pie this weekend!!

Hi, yes you're right JamesyJamesy. £1 in my local Tesco Extra, shelf edge label normal white one and not giving any hint that it's an offer. I think I last paid £1.56 when it was at full price but usually can get at £1 and stock up ! Thanks for spotting, I have now stocked up !!!
