Excellent value, the 'price/kg' beats all other supermarkets incl LIDL/ALDI (Red Tractor assured)

The way Red Tractor food is farmed and prepared is regularly checked by independent experts to make sure it is of a good standard.

Now reduced by 50p to £5.00 until Tuesday 5th September

Aldi £5.59 but for a kg so cheaper. Fairly sure Lidl is the same also.

All sorts of crap comes out of the chicken from Tesco when you are cooking it. They must pump it full of water to make them look more than what they are.

my apols Jetset I stand corrected, it is cheaper at Aldi (but not Lidl) - when I checked on Mysupermarket it didn't compare accurately. Aldi is the cheapest option!

& it tastes MUCH better too! Tesco chicken seems pumped up with water & Iceland chicken is even worse!

People actually buy meat from supermarkets instead of independent butchers? Crickey...

This! We stopped using Tesco because the quality of their meat was so bad.

I can go to tesco, get back and have the chicken cooked in the time it would take me to drive to my 'Local Butcher' pay to park and then get back home.
