Keep an eye, think they are being released by area or to regular customers first. I just booked mine for the 23rd and got the points bonus. They are just going live it would seem.

Did you receive an email telling you the slots were available for you?

I've also had my regular customer email but can someone tell me how to book it? Last year I followed the link, booked my slot and it only held it for two hours. Didn't reserve it so I had to go in store anyway. I've just tried to do it again and the same thing has happened.... oO Cheers for any help

I literally just got an email saying

Dear Mrs *********,

As a special Thank you for being one of our most regular tesco.com grocery customers we're offering you priority access to our Christmas delivery slots, which have now been released.

The slots fill up fast, so book yours today!

Don't forget, once you've booked your Christmas slot, you can still place other orders in the meantime without affecting your Christmas order.

Early booking of the Christmas delivery slots is available only on the tesco.com/gro…ies and
mobile websites and not via our mobile apps*.

Plus there's 250 extra clubcard points with our compliments when you place an order

You have to do a fake shop and checkout. You can then ammend your order nearer to the delivery day.

I have a delivery every week and have done for years so i'd better get one of those emails!!!!!!!!!!!

You need to make a "dummy" order so add a turkey or something, check it out and amend the order as and when. You need to check out.

so tesco are lying and you arent being given priority treatment - to be expected I suppose from them

I'm ringing them now

Oh right. I forgot that they don't take payment until you sign on delivery. Still think it's a rediculous way to have to reserve them. Thanks for the help guys. Much appreciated

I'm ringing them now

Doesn't work, week in week out I have 1 maybe 2 orders with them, had priority booking @ xmas twice in the last 5 years, rang them last year when I didn't get 1, and there was nothing they could do, in fact denied that they even did priority booking, even when I told them that I had the card they sent my sister giving her priority, they said they couldn't comment lol.
Sainsbury's and Asda are allowing you to book the monday today, so expect they'll allow Tues tomorrow and so on

Just been told that the emails are going out today and tomorrow. The chap tried to fob me off with "if you don't recevie and email we still think you're a valued customer"! he suggested it would be highest spenders and most regular users who are on the list.
I told him I will be very unhappy if I don't get an email!! lol

I received the email, but it did not state 250 points free????

Can I just cheekily ask those of you who received the email - do you have a delivery every week and spend over £150 on average? Just some info ready for my complaint letter should I need to complain!! lol

We are away the week before xmas so I really need to be organised and have a delivery scheduled for late on the 23 or 24th Dec. Not sure what I'll do if I can't get one!

booked mine eary last year and they cancelled with no notice due to snow so I was left trying to get stuff in the local 24/7 express

The 250 points is at the bottom. I spend about £200 a week on groceries oO

Yes I spend over £200 a week with them, esp at the moment, 2 different size nappies, formula, dog food etc

can't book past the 18th but haven't had an email either!

The points are a tiny add in to the email at the bottom. If you have spyware, you need to unblock it to see the code.

I think they must be doing it by area. As the ones in my hometown have just gone live.

Below is a copy of the email,no code.

oO Bit risky relying on leaving the shopping until the last minute for home delivery anyway in my experience. You can almost guarantee some items being out of stock...due to panic buying instore & poor stock levels to start with. Personally I'd rather be safe than sorry & visit the store during the quieter opening hours to be sure I have all I need.

The non-priority booking times are on here just fyi tesco.com/chr…es/

Thanks for this tinkerbell28!

Usually I would agree and have tended to get up at the crack of dawn the day before xmas eve to get my shopping (it's lovely at that time of day and just getting busy as I'm leaving smuggly with all my shopping done)! However this year we are going away and don't return home until the afternoon of Friday 23rd so I really want a delivery later that day so that if the worst happens and they run out of sprouts I can pop out on xmas eve to find some!!! lol
I'm gutted I'm not considered a valued customer. I've been regularly online shopping with them for years, have their credit card, insurance with them etc! (well only for the clubcard points but don't tell them that lol)

I haven't got mine yet and I regularly shop with Tesco so they could still be sending them out.
