You can now pay entirely for a car using clubcard deal tokens. You need to reserve the car with £300 but in the further details, this will be refunded if the car is paid for entirely using deal tokens. Free cars - fantastic !!!!

sorry, i dont actually understand how this works...please could you explain a tad clearer

That's a lorra shopping. would take a long time to collect at a spend of £50 a week by then the vouchers would have expired.

Link just goes to tesco home page - where's the deal???

Looks like Motorpoint have been added to Clubcard deals. Wow great heads up.

collect points through shopping at Tesco, both in store and online and then convert the points into deals. You receive one point per £1 spent, which within the deals is worth four times as much. This can be boosted through various online codes eg current ones are 1000 points on £50 spend on wine. This works out at either £10 instore vouchers, or converted to deals is £40. The vouchers are valid for upto 2 years and you can easily collect £1500 - £2000 a year which converts to upto £4000 off a car

link should work now

I get around £750 in points per year which equates to £3000 in clubcard deals, the coupons last for 2 years so I could get around £6000 towards a car just for shopping at Tesco and knowing the loopholes. Very, very hot deal for me.

Me and the wife are discussing this at the mo.

Hot as a bag of tabasco!

:pirate: CJ :pirate:

EDIT: Here's the ]link. feck me, it's true!

jesus this is hot!

well... got 16,600 points sitting there just waiting to be spent :-D

just to put that into perspective, it's only £664 in deals so you're gonna need at least 10x that to get even the cheapest car

good offer. I have not spent any vouchers for 6 years and have about £2100 worth. Cheapest car is £4500 so worth thinking about.

Any other ideas on spending my vouchers. Could get a week at disney for th kids in floria in Feburay half term but is that a waste would the weather be poor?

I thought that all Tesco vouchers had a limited shelf life of around 2 years?

All of mine have a date on them, can't remember if they had a date on 6 years ago or not, have spent them ones.

do they still expire if u buy vouchers with them just before the 2 yrs is up???

The deals tokens are only valid for 6 months.

The deals tokens are only valid for 6 months.

mmm, so how much shopping would you have to do to fully pay for a car?
Sounds like the gold at the end of the rainbow to me. It's not achievable.

I think that paul.jacobs means that if you exchanged the blue Clubcard vouchers for any Deals tokens, but did not actually use/spend them. Return them to Clubcard before they are due to expire, and they will recredit your Clubcard account with their points value.
Then when the next quarters Clubcard vouchers are issued, you get sent vouchers with the longer expiry date on them. Thus, although the blue CC vouchers do have a 2 year expiry, you are able to save your vouchers for something 'big' - like a car!

You could get an Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster for only £23749.80 in vouchers.

Now to start shopping for my borough!

We usually go to Florida in January and although we've had the odd chilly day, it's usually shorts and T-shirt weather...and no queues at the rides!!

Can you use part vouchers part cash?

I've done this once before with some Days Out tokens I wasn't able to use but they made it clear that they would convert them back to points only once, so I'm not sure you could count on doing this regularly.

What a fantastic deal, Thanks!

Tesco Website says that deal tokens can be used for full or part payment, so it is a really good deal!:-D

If you don't mind me asking, how on earth do you achieve this:? ? I mean, I always use the 1000 points ones that are posted here, but don't get many more than 3 or 4 a quarter. My yearly total would be more like £300 in vouchers and I think that is pretty good (i.e. £2,400 for a holiday after 2 years).

What are other people getting for a year's worth? I'm quite interested to know, as there are so many of us chasing these points, but not usually sharing how much they achieve.

Tesco vouchers are valid for 6 months but once converted up to 2 years for the deals voucher... Motorpoint are very very cheap anyway so brilliant news!

I know that some people receive thousands worth of Clubcard Vouchers every 3 months. You'd be amazed at what people spend not only in-store but by using their Tesco Credit Card aswell.
If you're in a fortunate position where part of your job is to buy stuff for your work on your CC, then the points add up very fast.

You'd better pray the taxman doesn't find out about that one... tsk tsk

:whistling:

Surely this is too good to be true! So if I was to buy for instance two computers for a total of £1000 and use a double points coupon (I've actually had two of these as till spits recently) then resell the computers on Ebay, I'd be getting a car for virtually nothing as I'd have £8000 to spend in vouchers and I'd be getting the majority of the £1000 back too from Ebay! Surely there's a catch somewhere?

Not a catch, but a point is not worth a pound. If only:whistling:

I collect tesco clubcard points but as soon as I collect so many I get vouchers sent though the post.

how can you build up your points if they keep sending them though to you?

No! 2000 points is £20, or £80 in vouchers!

I have a Tesco CC as well and don't need work to buy lots of stuff:oops: :whistling:

1000 points = £10.00 in vouchers = £40 in deals

Edit: oops too slow, beaten to it!

No, you dont get £1 worth of points for every £1 spent

Tesco have the best loyalty program, no catches just great rewards, their arn't many supermarkets that will give you a new Omega watch (like mine:thumbsup:) or car just for using and buying their products.

could someone tell me some cracking loopholes please?????????????

Take a look over at www.paidtoshop.co.uk if you want to see how people get so many points, its mainly working the system and many people have thousands of pounds worth of deals.

1) some people have up to 10 clubcards taking advantage of all the 1,000 point grocery and wine codes ten times over, plus the extra points vouchers x 10.

2) Every now and again tesco do an offer where you get roughly x3 value of clubcard points back (deals value)per £1 you spent. So people buy thousands of these.
i) beef in gravy - 66p x 3 = £1.98 spent, 150 bonus points = £6 of deals back
ii) johnson & johnsons - especially the talc was similar to this
iii) photo accessories spend £1.49 upwards get 400 points = £16 in deals

So buying thousands of the above I'm sure it will become clearer how the points can add up. The only issue is finding stock, not many photo stuff around but sometimes like with the beef you can bulk order - I ordered 1,200 packs in totl

thanx darren999 for the handy tips cant believe u bought 1200 beef packs lol dare i ask wot u did with them or was everyone on your street eating beef for the next 10 yrs lol

I gave them to a local homeless shelter, same as lots of others did. The ones I didn't bulk buy I filled the freezer with :whistling: :giggle:

if vouchers expire they will re issue them

Am I being a bit dense here but could you go on ebay and buy the tesco vouchers at roughly 1.5 times value.

e.g £150 tesco value may cost approx £225 but worth £600 in deals.
