***********************************************************************

Current points collection period: 22nd July to 20th October

Ongoing Boost redemption: There are ongoing boost redemption items that are always available and will continue to be available - for more info tesco.com/clu…ls/

There will be a number of changes to the Clubcard scheme over the next few months. Will have to wait and see what they are.

***********************************************************************

The Big Points Earners

- 5000 points (worth up to £200 in rewards) on converting £50 from Topcashback into clubcard points. The bad news is that this is ending on the 31st July. So if you have yet to use your £50 annual allowance convert now. If you need to quickly earn cashback to convert into points check the Topcashback site for the faster paying merchants topcashback.co.uk/

- 3000 points for taking out Home and Contents Insurance using code H3000GR. The original terms of the offer states you cant go via financial comparison sites. Remember premiums vill vary by area, so may or may not be a good deal depending where you live. Offer ends 21st June.

tescobank.com/hom…ce/

- New premium Tesco Credit Card. I really cant recommend anyone taking this out due to the extortionate £150 annual fee (stick with Amex). Maybe an opportunity for the future if the signup bonus increases or the annual fee reduces but struggle to currently see why you would take out the card. The main benefits of the card:

a) 5000 Bonus Clubcard points on £5k spend at Tesco (personally think the spend is way too high). Also note that the clubcard points are only credited towards the end of your 1st year taking out the card

b) 1 point per £1 spend at Tesco (1 point per £4 outside Tesco)

c) Worldwide family travel insurance

d) 1% enhanced exchange rate on Tesco travel money (would double check the credit cards terms on this to see how they treat fx purchases)

d) £50 off BA Club Europe flight promo code which can be used by up to 9 people but needs to be used in a single transaction

- 1000 extra bonus points for purchasing a Singer sewing machine/chest - lowest cost is £30 for a sewing chest which is currently in stock as of 4th June and included in Boost. Offer ends 16th June

tesco.com/dir…omo

- 1000 Extra bonus points on Windows Connect 10-Inch Tablet, Intel Atom, 1GB RAM, 32 GB - Black for £119. I cant recommend this one as is pretty poor value for money, considering the 9 inch version is currently only £69 - offer ends 15th June

tesco.com/dir…prd

- Ongoing offer of 150 points awarded when you spend £50 in a single transaction on selected branded gift cards (needs to be £50 after the 15% discount), excluding Tesco Gift Cards, xbox gift cards, F&F gift cards and blinkbox gift cards. Note if you order online there is a delivery charge for physical gift cards. Tesco offer selected digital gift cards online with no delivery charges

- Comparethemarket: 1000 points for taking out a Tesco 0% for 17 months purchase card + access to 2 for 1 cinema tickets applying via comparethemarket comparethemarket.com/cre…ds/ *** note there are different variants of Tesco credit card - choose the one with 1,000 points - is 22nd in the list on the meerkat site ***

- Tesco credit card refer a friend 1000 points bonus for the you and your friend - this stacks with with above offer. You can recommend up to 10 friends or family members

Ohhhhhh and mmmmmmmmmm X)

Heat added chichi, wish I had some points left...what do I get for 40? not much in this game X)

May seem obvious - with the discounted iTunes gift cards ensure that you spend £50 after discount to get the bonus points

Thanks for this, I appreciate the effort you've put in for all of us

Good info

How do you convert into tesco points on topcashback website?

hotmik

Cheers Chanchi, here are a few more points

Good old scotty parker... loved him when he was a happy hammer

If you stack the Tesco credit card with referral, can you get quidco. My guess is no

Thanks op. Just ticked some spurious insurance renewal dates even though I don't own a car or a pet lol.

haha a nice copy and paste job from your previous 1000° deal.
well I saved £50 voucher on tesco and my account got hacked online so that £50 from top cash back which you call is worth £200 is worth peanuts for me
still waiting for tesco to get back.
I suggest everyone check their account every month!

Just go into the payout section on the website (not app). Not all retailers let you convert into tescos, it will give you the option next to the ones that you can. Takes a couple of days to hit your clubcard.

Voted hot thank you! Some very useful info!

I thought they stopped the recycling ink cartridges scheme, as I used to do this but then received a letter saying it's no longer available!

Ahh silly me... I misread my letter, so stopped sending the cartridges!!
Ooh I have a collection to send off now :-)

First of all, make sure you have a Tesco Clubcard linked with your TCB account. Go to the My Profile section of your TCB Account, then Payment Details and fill in your Clubcard number to request your cashback payout. Then transfer your cashback onto your Tesco Clubcard

Do club card points expire? Mine recently dropped from 5 hundred and something to 18.

My points were hacked too. They made me wait until the next statement before reimbursing them (4 months). By that time some of the stolen points had expired and they didn't refund these ones :-(

Wonderful post, some good things
I did not know. Hot and thanks for
posting.

Check your statement online as a lot of Clubcard accounts have been hacked and points stolen.

How do u get points from TopCashback?

You can earn up to 500 points for signing up to a weekly subscription at BlinkBox Music £1/week. Receive 250 points on the first payment, then 250 on the second

Will do a few of these for the extra points.

hiya

can any one explain how make £50 tesco voucher to make it £200 worth plz

Cheers pal!

Thanks, once the TCB is transferred to tesco points(how long does this process take?), will the points stay there until they are all used?

Good post & heat added.

However, it is no longer possible to get points from recycling cans - all the machines have been removed and replaced with recycling bins. The website you quoted for recycling has all the details:

Good post this. What about those of us that have several tesco accounts (because we keep using new customer discount codes).. Can we transfer the clubcard points earned on new accounts over to a main account?

No green clubcard points in Scotland anymore due to bag charge

I'm pretty sure you can, give their customer service a call.

This is actually better than it sounds. Especially if you spend a lot of money online & you can get V3 Visa Cards as they are free to load.

There is another card with a charge.
I use the one with a charge to pay my HMRC bills (VAT & Corporation Tax). I pay using my credit card and collect air miles on it.
so thats 2000 air miles for every £1000 - fee is about £80.
I also get 3000 clubcard points 625 miles for every 250 clubcard points
7500 miles & if there is a bonus offer like 30% extra currently, that can take it up to 9750.

So up to a total of 11750 miles & all it has cost me is a little hard work + £80 in loading the debit card fees.

They do clubcard boosts - so sometimes they will make a £5 voucher worth a lot more on certain deals.
A few years ago they was giving £10 voucher for every £5 in gardening products for example. So I bought a lawnmower!
