I appreciate this only works if you have some clubcard vouchers lying around but, if you do, be quick! You can change £10 of clubcard vouchers into £40 to spend at any of the included hotels. Vouchers must be exchanged by 28th Feb and stays booked by 14th March. You can use the vouchers for a stay any time in 2013

Vouchers are only valid at rack rate in hotels so you can't take advantage of any offers and it very often works out more expensive to use your vouchers (even at 1/4 of their value) than it does to just pay the offer rate

Yes, and sadly, only for full weekend stays , and most London hotels are out, too - no good if u needed to be in London midweek, like I did! Sounds so good...but a rip off really!

I got two nights in the Hilton, Newcastle for just over £40 in vouchers. If you could point me to somewhere I can normally achieve this rate then please do!

Has this deal not been available for ages. We certainly have been using them for years at four times value.

Considering vouchers have 3-4x nominal value you've paid like £120-150 for that room

How long does it normally take to receive your vouchers through email? Just ordered pizza express ones. Sorry for jumping in on the thread. Heat added for good deal.

what is best deal to spend vouchers on , i always tend to use for hotel breaks , but reading this not best choice !!!

If you have enough Clubcard vouchers to cover the whole cost of your break then it is a bargain. Seeing as you paying nothing as the vouchers are free for being a loyal Tesco shopper. Plus you get breakfast included. I have found the Accor hotel chain (Novotel and Mercure) and Barcelo (or Puma as it is called now) to be very reasonable as their prices match the flexible rate of their B&B rate online. However Hilton seems to be overinflated at the Tesco booking rate.

However if you buying certain items just to obtain Clubcard points then that is a different kettle of fish

If people are put off by using their vouchers on Hotels then restaurants are good value but you have to pay for your drinks.

Days out can be good value, as well .

I booked two nights in best western premier moor house hotel b&b over a weekend for 94 a night in exchanged vouchers (ie 45 of vouchers and 8 cash). I also managed to get a single night at the mercure Wolverhampton for 78 b&b (17.50 vouchers and 8 cash). They will offer midweek stays at certain hotels on this offer, and single nights of available. You just have to ring and ask.
I wouldn't normally pay that much for b&b, but seeing as I'm paying with vouchers I think it's a fair deal! Although I have now run out of tesco vouchers not thinking that i wanted to use some for entrances to Cadbury world and west midlands safari park. Oops.
