If I were to use this for buying petrol, do you get the clubcard points for the purchase as normal (i.e. 1 point per litre) as well as the 1 point per £4 spent? Similarly if used for shopping do you get the extra points on top of shopping points?

-BA- don't they give 1point per £2 spent on fuel now?

used this for years... yes the credit card points are bonus points and are shown on your statements as TescoBank

Am I right in saying I won't be charged interest on my purchases for 16 months but I will need to make minimum payments each month on the amount spent in total??

Minimum repayment is 1% of the statement balance, subject to a minimum of £25.

I use the Tesco Cc for big purchases eg carpets TV furniture Holidays

1. I spend up to the maximum Eg £3500 or what Tesco give you as a limit.
2. I set up a Monthly direct debit for £218.75 to pay off all the balance over the 16 months.
3. Ensure you dont spend any more once you start paying down the debt.
4. Cancel after 16 months and look for another card with 0% on purchases and repeat If you have more big purchases

You can Apply for another Tesco credit card after 8 months of closing

Hope this helps

Had mine for years really benefit from using it with lots of club card points!
