This has been on for sometime now .

Should have let us know then. CHEERS OP
Tesco continuosly reduce the range of products available online in order to force customers to increase average order value and to push them into the shop if they want some products.

I decided to shop more with Lidl, quality is as good and prices are better. I have to renew my delivery saver next month at Tesco and I consider if it's worth doing it.

You are as they restrict the products available, which 'force' you to buy expensive products without providing an alternative cheaper options. They used to have a much bigger selection online but gradually remove products, in order to drive the basket value up.
I always do my home shopping with sainsburys and choose the green blocks they are free but its usually 9-10 at night that doesn’t bother me though

Your not forced, it's a open market you can abandon Tesco and never shop there again for any reason whatsoever. If you think you are forced, then you don't know what forced means.
so you can have the trial free opt for one of the other payed plans then cancel before any payment is taken ???
sorry being numb !

Tesco have removed a lot of their value range because they are phasing it out but replaced them with branded food at the same price.

Personally i spend roughly 40 quid every 2 weeks at either Tesco or Asda and comfortably buy 28 meals plus coffee, tea, milk, sugar, snacks. So prices are still pretty good. Obviously not everyone buys the Tesco branded stuff but lidl im sure have very similar prices. I haven't used them in many years (back before lidl was cool) and didn't find prices any different to own brand stuff.
Does anyone know when this offer will end? I'd like to leave it for a bit before I sign up, but I don't want to miss the offer either. Thanks in advance.
It's a good step in the right direction, but still way behind the competition, This doesn't really become interesting until they can match the 1, or 2 hour delivery that Amazon Prime offers you from Morrisons....

Good to see them starting out with this and I hope they catch up - would be nice for Amazon/Morrisons to finally have some competition in this area!

Yep
Is their any deals on belts? The usual delivery drivers pants was falling down when came home from work early because my workplace barely had any customers and too many staff
I think I should treat him to a cheap belt since he seems friendly and my wife seems to find him funny since she always laughs at his humour

I wasn't talking just about the 'value' range but other products. They once removed sliced white bloomer for several months for no good reason.

I don't find it odd, I think he said he lost some weight recently but Tesco won't give him a new pair of pants again

Poor guy, must be embarrassing having you pants nearly failing down for every delivery

The green blocks don't affect the price they just mean a van is already in the area at that time.

Oh ok well still a good idea maybe its just the late ones that are free lol. Green and free 2 for the price of one haha
is there any supermarket that doe't have the £40 minimum order??
"Do you think you could stop your little sh1t routing through the box till I've brought it in specially for you?"
I've been using tesco grocery home delivery pretty much twice weekly for about 5 years now, and lately the service and their products are getting worse.

The same day delivery was included in my plan, but they then changed it and created another more expensive plan for that. They also reduced the time you need to check out by the day before delivery by about 2 hours.

They 'upgraded' the site a few months back and its woeful compared to what is used to be. Mainly down to the way they have organised sections, and also the speed of the site is painfully slow, regardless what device I use to browse their site.

Their own brand product set has taken a massive overhaul, and for what I can size its been to downsize the products, but keep the same price. Fresh pasta, baby wipes etc. All the same price but re-branded and now with less or inferior contents. Shrinkflation in full effect to maximise their profits.

Seriously considering moving to someone else.
We've stopped using Tescos due to them taking our order money, ringing up to say the transaction hasn't gone through and would we like to pay by another means! It took around 10 days to get our £180ish back. Over 8 years of loyalty didn't seem to mean anything.

We now use Waitrose, over £60 it's free delivery.

I can't see it happening, and if it does it would have to be very local. I mean, we have a constant shortage of drivers, so much so they cap the vans going out. Everything is done by humans, from picking to loading. I don't know about other areas but our one hub covers a 30 mile radius.
