Sorry if this has already been posted but could not find a post....

£4.07 if you buy the Turner Road wine and do the Tesco Price Check making this a better deal. Can't really argue for just over 4 quid with the wine!

Meal deal for 2 for £10 in Tesco, includes a main, side and dessert and bottle of wine or soft drink. The bottles of wine alone are £9.99 and comparing this with the M&S 2 dine for £10, you get far more food in this deal and are from the Tesco Finest range too!

why anybody would want to dine out at a nasty old tesco cafe is beyond me.
get the same price at most pubs in more comfortable surrounding, heck mcdonalds is more sophisticated than a tesco diner

This is not in the cafe, this is 'dine in' meaning at home....

If you choose the Turner Road wine you can get the difference in value refunded from resco pricecheck. Makes this deal £4.07, there was a thread last week.

This deal is so much better than M&S.

I've done this 4 times now, putting on weight though!

This seems to have been a permanent offier for some time now, although the dishes / wine change from time to time. Have tried it out a couple of times and is not bad value.

Nice attention to detail

'you get far more food in this deal and are from the Tesco Finest range too!'- how is there more food than the M&S deal? I think this is a good deal but nothing beats M&S quality!

The wine is not worth £9.99 as ASDA currently sell it for £4.06 but it does give you a voucher for £5.06 on Pricecheck making the deal £4.07 as stated above.

The quality of the food is far superior at M&S, I have tried Tesco's meal deal twice now and both times food was not up to scratch, wine was good though.

In most stores the Turner Road is not in the chiller cabinet with the other items, you need to find it in the wine aisle instead. Still goes through as part of the meal deal though, and is listed on their website.

The m+s food is far superior , tesco finest is nothing like its quality , it used to be when the range was inroduced but it went rapidly down hill , ususal marketing trick .

Had several of these deals, it's pretty good value.

Note: That picture definitely isn't the Turner Road wine though!

I know the wine isnt the turner road wine but to try and put all items in the pic was not possible, so i just chose one of the wines on offer....

To be fair it's not like you knew about the turner road rebate thingy, so expected!

Got another £11.86 voucher to use today, getting fat though!

Ok, I'll try this out, bought 2 meal deals(£20) to feed the family tonite & entered the receipt details into the price checker. TBH, if it works, this is a fantastic deal, feed a family of four (2 courses) for aprox £8, (once you get the voucher back(aprox £12)) & have 2 bottles of wine left over in the rack for the weekend is brilliant. If I get the voucher, I'm going back to stock up for rest of week, cos there was loads of the Turner Road Chardonnay on the racks. I could easily transfer these onto my own racks.

Just remember:

Only buy if there is Turner Road available (Chardonnay or Merlot)
Make sure the items you buy really are in the meal deal, some stores are dumping other items in the cabs.
Do not buy other shopping (if the other shopping is cheaper in Tesco than Asda, it reduces your voucher)

Think they may have fixed this as I've had my last receipt with 2 meal deals on, including the Turner Road, rejected as nothing to compare with, even though the product is still listed on the Asda website ???

Yeah Tesco have now stopped this glitch on the meal deal, has been reported on MSE for a few days though. If you buy the wine on its own it may still compare though.
