  • 2 echo dots at £34 each using the TDX-KYJF code.
  • 3 echo dots at £34 each by making 2 separate transactions, first buying 2 using the TDX-KYJF code, then buying the 3rd using the TDX-KH7H code

Surely if they are £34 each, then it doesn’t matter how many multiples of them you buy, they will still be £34 each? Not disputing the good price, just weird wording!

Why would you want a microphone in your house?

You probably carry one round with you every day. Unless you don't own a mobile phone. But then you're just weird.

I can't buy it the site isn't working properly when I'm at checkout the layout is weird.
Worked perfect for me and I had a bunch of club card vouchers available if forgotten about so bargain.

Even without this is cheaper than Amazon as currently £39.99 and cheapest they've gone to is 34.99.

Thanks OP, good find

So that you can talk to your house, and have it do useful things for you.

It's a risk/reward trade-off between potential eavesdropping and useful functionality.

You (presumably) have a mobile phone in your pocket, which could potentially be used to eavesdrop on you, but you don't worry overly about that, do you?

I avoided these for a while out of an abundance of caution but I don't regret getting one. In the morning it tells me what my schedule for the day is, how my commute is looking, what the weather is going to be like. In the evening my daughter curls up with me and we play a choose your own adventure style game. At night it plays me my chosen Spotify playlists on a sleep timer and then wakes me at the appropriate time the next morning.

If you go down the smart-home route (I haven't, as yet) you can control your heating, lights, appliances, just by telling it what you want to happen, and when.

OOS now 😩
Jumping on the bandwagon. Let's see where this ends.... Thanks OP.
Pardon my ignorance, wasn’t the recent John Lewis deal better? 3 for 69.98!
If you're planning on using this for music, be aware you must have a paid music service. Cancelled my order and went for a google mini as you can use free Spotify.
Went to order one and found I have Clubcard vouchers I hadn’t used to got this for under £20 - bargain!!

And did you actually get some in that offer? They sold out very quickly. This deal is still live.

Actually I ordered three and wording is correct as it saves you making three transactions or missing out on discount of £15 by just making a single transaction.

Yes I did. Ordered 3 white echo dots when it was posted here at £99. When the price dropped further to £69.98 within a few hours, ordered another 3 successfully. Collected both orders instore and got them to reduce the price of first purchase from £99 to £69!
