Hi All

Been on Tesco today and bought a washing machine for my parents and saw that they have got price cuts on all hotpoint and Indesit. They had a similar deal on a few months back when I bought mine

£20 off £200
£30 off £300
£40 off £400
£50 off £500

I got the washing machine in the link for £209 rather than £229. It's taken off straight away at the checkout. Cheapest in the market was Coop at £219 but the voucher made Tesco cheaper.

Theres also free recycling for the old appliance so I saved another £20 compared to Coop.

Really happy with my buy.

if we keep buying hopeless machines and paying a fortune for added labour warranties the owners of these "brands" won't ever start to take customer care seriously. don't do it.

welcome to greedy planet earth, where profit means everything.

I bought an Indesit 2 yrs ago ,, it lasted 18 months before packing in . I got an engineer out , but no joy fixing it . All his calls were for the said brands and he said they're all carp now so make sure you take out a long warranty ! He advised me to buy Samsung .
Just an opinion I thought I'd share .

I keep advising to avoid throw away brands like hotpoint and indesit. They produce washing machines like cheap printers - it is cheaper to throw them away and buy new than to repair. Their warranty does not cover labour and costs £100 a time to fix even under warranty.

Just spend £100 more on a good quality brand that takes customer care and service seriously. Yes it is cheap - that does not make it a bargain!
