Excellent find OP. Especially the 3DS version for that price.
just ordered for PS3 (cheaper than fleabay)
Heat
Getting one thanks. Heat added
It's a great game, my 8 yr old got it for Christmas and hasn't stopped playing it. However, the individual Skylander figures and 3 packs are impossible to get anywhere at the moment. This may be an indication of the popularity of the game, but is a bit frustrating as he has saved up his pocket money to buy some.
I'm going to get the 3ds version at this price, been waiting for a bit of a price drop.
just found a lite version for the 3ds 21.95 + 2.99 del (ok if you just need 1 figure)

You can get some of them on Amazon. I think £19.99 but some are out of stock and can be pre-ordered.
Still just under £40 in-store so ordered through the direct desk for pickup on Tuesday. Cheaper to get it sent to store than going upstairs and getting one WTF? Anyway heat added, nice find.
Can someone explain what the figures add to the game? Are they needed for the game to be worth playing?
just incase you was wondering, these were £39 instore today so they are cheaper than usual, just not as cheap as the Direct.

The game's great as it comes but more figures makes it easier (because when one character dies/becomes worn out you just replace it with a new one and continue). As you keep unlocking features which only apply to certain characters (and you get to watch a video of the character in action) it effectively becomes an advert for the extra characters so kids want them!

I bought the game as a present for my son and then he bought some characters with his pocket money (but they're currently pretty hard to find in the shops and not all the characters have been released yet).
