What are you talking about? It's apple juice from concentrate. Exactly the same as all the other long life apple juices, which are much more expensive.

All the sugars are naturally occurring sugars from the fruit, if there was just water and sugar how could it count towards one of your 5-a-day? Go read the carton.

I'm not comparing this to other apple juices. All apple juice (and fruit juice in general) is generally not good for you unless it's blended with all the fiber in (which is not what apple juice does like this):

do a quick search online and you'll find lots of info:

fruit sugar is not good for you if it's not eaten with the fruit fibre
    Anyone tried in Peterborough? thanks
16p in Cardiff wa, 65p in Penarth

hmm, interesting.. will probably start drinking less juice then.
Used 4 boxes of this juice to make some cider......

Boiled the juice first to get rid of any preservatives
    Cup and half of sugar
    Teaspoon of yeast
    Good old shake
    Airlock
    wrapped up in airing cupboard
After 3 days it looked like orange juice
Tasted similar to cloudy apple juice, but with a serious kick!
Will leave for a bit longer to ferment
    I've stocked up ;-)
