mmmm vinegar favoured tomato sauce substitute
Its not heinzs buts its not bad!!!!!!8)
its actually not that bad, in actual fact
Great price.Prefer this over Heinz.
Better then you think
No thanks, I find Tesco's normal branded ketchup far too sweet so I can't imagine this being any different since they both list sugar (of some sort) as the second ingredient.
I ordered this in my delivery shop from Tescos this week and it's surprisingly ok. I've tried other substitutes for Heinz ketchup before and they were awful; ended up having to go back to Heinz. Now I can use this. Heat added. (I paid 17p Tuesday!!)
This site is becoming full of supermarket value brand "deals" and poundshop "deals", they're not deals!

The amount my kids go through I am not paying out for Heinz. Personally I prefer this to Heinz which I find quite watery.
Taste like sh1te though, Heinz all day long...
It contains only 49% of tomato pure, rest of it modified maize starch, sweeteners and other crap. Can't imagine someone eating this...
Super price for 590g in a SQUEEZY bottle! Less than a quarter of the price of equivalents in some supermarkets. If you look at tomatoes used per 100g there's not much in it when compared with Heinz, and taste is surprisingly unvinegary.
Course there will always be the Heinz Loyals and I, for one, understand this.

Not only Heinz does proper ketchup. From cheap ones I like Aldi's one.Its only 89p for 500g and taste is second after Heinz.
I concur Aldi's one is a goodie, but it is 650% more expensive.

some people haven't got a choice and cant afford the extortionate price of heinz
I slagged this off last time by comparing it to a nose bleed, but a shortage of cash forced me to buy it the other day and it was actually quite good on me hot dogs. So it's got to be a hot deal at that price!!
Are you not aware or bothered about the sugar and general rubbish that goes into cheap products such as this? You're poor digestive systems getting that piped into 'em.

Serious about what? I dont like this stuff personally but if I was on a budget with a squad of kids I'd be buying it.

I hardly think a few splats here and there will kill my kids and if it was that bad it wouldn't be on sale! Sadly life dictates we live on a tight budget so for now this is the bottle I buy.
