This 8ft wide pool is made of durable three-ply heavy gauge PVC and is easy to put up. Inflate the ring at the top of the pool and the pool sides will rise as it fills with water. The pool holds 608 gallons/2,300 litres of water.

2300 litres of water - thats bl**dy ridiculous for a paddling pool !!
we've got this one and its a good size, you will need a pump and cleaning chemicals which i found where cheaper and in stock on ebay. it is a cold pool though , we filled it with luke warm water and it was fine for the day

Saw this instore for the same price yesterday for anyone who just wants to pop and get one.
Same pool is £14.99 in Argos at the moment if you don't want to wait for delivery or don't have a store that you an order to nearby
Nice one thnx
This is a good price, however is this really a good use of a scare resouce 600 gallons of water for a days paddling? Also certainly no good for those using a water meter!
always one negative comment, it's a great use of 600 gallons when it's so hot and the kids can enjoy it.

1. you don't have to fill it to capacity
2. you can reuse the water
3. you fill once for a long period of time and add chlorine/bromine tablets to it
4. I worked out for those on a meter it costs about £4 to fill it
5. kinder to the environment than say running aircon

600 gallons? Where did that come from? The Tesco page that the link takes me to says...

- Water Capacity Litres 459

That's about 100 gallons.
Well tesco MUST be wrong! thats 1/2 a cubic meter! The pool is half a meter deep.

I filled mine with half hot and half cold water. Was perfect yesterday.

I'm glad I'm not on a water meter but my flowers are loving the watering they are getting from it.

You do need to fill these types of pools to capacity for the sides to become sturdy and must place on a relatively flat surface for the same reason.

I was refering to the pool shown on Tescos site and in the OP which you do NOT need to fill to capacity as the sides are inflated. My parents have the other sort and for the kids it's perfectly acceptable to use it not completely filled as the sides rise with the water level so you have some slack but it's still usable.

Anyway the point is with these sort of pools you fill them up infrequently and leave them up and use tablets and a filter
I use to have one of them, but my neighbor complained that I could see them taking a shower.
That's when I was climbing onto the roof for a good bomb diving!
