Bought this the last time it was £20 it's quite nice but not sure it's worth its usual price tag of £25.

Tesco don't make whiskey. This is whiskey that tesco have bought from a scottish distillery and put their own name on. Which means there's no telling what whiskey it is - it might not be the same stuff they were selling a year ago at all.

You can get a Highland Park 12 or Old Pulteney 12 at this price from time to time, thus I think this one is well overpriced at £25.

you can get those at about £22 in a lightning deal about once a year for about half hour

you won't find a age statement whisky cheaper than this and its just a rebadge of a regular single malt........i agree its not truely amazing price but its a very good price for what it is......just thought i would share the info as nobody had posted

I agree with you - at this price it's okay ( £20).

Picked a bottle up of the tesco highland yesterday for £20 , much better than the spayside

The new range of Tesco regional expressions not only carry an age statement but also the signature of Richard Paterson. I have had the pleasure of meeting Richard and hearing him speak at the Meet The Blenders evening at the Scotch Whisky Experience. An event that capitalises on the fact that many of the major noses and blenders within the industry meet to judge the International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC) – of which the 2014 silver medal adorns this whisky. Needless to say the guessing game of what whisky is in the bottle is the most fun game to play with these supermarket own brands. Many jumped on the fact that Richard is also master distiller at Dalmore (part of the Whyte & Mackay group) and so the rumour mill has the Highland version of this whisky pegged as Dalmore. So deduction should be simple right – this must be W&M’s speyside distillery Tamnavulin – case closed, goodnight

The 2 drunk bottles of the 3 I picked up for £12 each earlier this year were a perfectly decent whisky for £20
