I thought they were parsnips?

Cook your own for a fraction of the cost. Roast in a spot oil with a drizzle of honey and a generous sprinkling of caraway seeds.

Or just pay a pound for these!

Well worth a pound, Xmas dinner is hard work enough!

Yes, what a huge saving - pay about 60p for parsnips, and then buy a jar of honey (£1?) and a pot of caraway seeds (£1?). Of course, I'll then have the honey and caraway seeds to obviously use repeatedly, no way will they sit unused in the cupboard.

I reckon just pay £1. Heat added.

every time i try 2 cook my own they burn!! had these last year and hubby loved them, plus like people ssy got enough 2 do xmas!! gotaa go tesco 2nite so fingers crossed they got some!!

HOT! These are absolutely scrumptious.

Wow - a lot of lazy people around here =/

Xmas dinner is sooooo easy. People just can't be bothered to cook these days. It doesn't set a good example for the kids.

bah. whenever i saw these when i was a kid i thought my parents had cooked chips for sunday dinner.....

Cook from frozen, these are lush.

You miss the point. The point is; if one wants frozen vegetables with a sweet coating, then this is a good deal.

depends if you want to spend Christmas day cooking and constantly watching the oven and runnoing everytime the timer pings - Or have fun with the little ones and their presents on the big day i suppose

I prepare as much as i can Christmas eve - but i just want to shove it all in the oven and not keep going back Christmas day - and then just steam the veg and pop the yorkshire mix, make the gravy and serve towards the end.
