I think the trick if you are going to go with this for your other half is expectation management. Drop hints that you have booked in at your local Greggs: then when it turns out to be a Tescos take out, it wont look quite as cheap.
so as its Valentines they add an extra £10 on?

I think the other thing is also not to be with someone who wouldn't be happy that you'd taken the time to buy and cook a nice meal for the 2 of you....
The Lamb is £10 the wine £8.50 the chips £2.60 plus a desert which is specific to the deal. It's not a huge saving over the individual prices, I hope that there are some better selections when the deal goes live especially the wine.

Is it just me or is this really poor from Tesco??
They would need to add a starter to make this even reasonable value. Not impressed. Fleecing people with the label Valentine's Day.
Cold cold cold
These so called Deals are anything but.

True, but restaurants have been doing the same since forever.
At least M&S usually has a starter for their £20 Valentine’s Day meal deals.
This can’t be the full list. Normally include a box of chocolates too.
Area meal better...With 60p pizza
Nothing says you love her quite like a Tesco meal deal.
Get this at m&s for a tenner ?????????????
This really isn't worth £20 imo, cooooooooold.

This is a terrible deal. It's just their normal meal deal with one extra side but for twice the price.
