Tesco flexi retractable dog lead - Large - £2 INSTORE ONLY

This large plastic flexi lead runs smoothly in and out so your dog can move freely. At the same time the inner spring mechanism always keeps the cord under slight tension, while the integrated braking system makes it possible to easily control the dog.

If your going to vote cold, leave a reason.????
Brilliant price, got to be store specific though.
If not store specific, this is scorching hot for those of us with "grabby" dogs.. my cairn terrier destroys leads in seconds if they are accidentally left within stealing reach! The flexi ones are brilliant.

I have seen them in a couple of stores in Rugby area. Not sure if it is nationwide though.
They are discontinued, they are bringing in a new range in Tesco so it will only be stores that haven't sold out.

Either way, this is a good price where they are available. You show me a deal where there is such a huge reduction in price (RRP £16.99) and that isn't on a limited stock basis.
They are the 3m ones not the 100m ones (my mum sent me there thinking they were the 100m ones when it was advertised before!)

These things can be menace to others, as the cord often ends up stretched across the pavement with the dog on one side and the owner on the other.

a 100m retractable lead? I have never seen a 100m retractable lead. In fact I don't think I have seen many that are longer than 5m to be honest. The unit would have to be the same size as a garden hose reel to house 100m of lead.

The voting is not so you can voice an opinion on whether you think the product is worthwhile or not, it is for voting if it is a genuinely good deal.

You cannot vote something cold based on the inadequacies of the person using the item. If they can't control a dog on a retractable lead, then they really have some more deep rooted issues. That however, is not a fault of the product or the deal I have posted.
Surely it is limited stock if they are discontinued :-/
I'll check my local tesco on the way home but don't hold high hopes.

I merely posted as I know these could be useful to fellow dog owners. I myself do not use them as I find they encourage the dog to want to pull and roam off.

Never the less, I thought it was a good price for those that use them. I have not done a nationwide check of every store to identify stock levels or availability, but then I am guessing that no-one has ever done that for any deal posted on here.

If it only saves 1 person a few quid its worth it as I am not particularly interested in gaining heat or rep, just to share a good deal.

You can vote a deal cold if you don't like the product. It's not just about price. At least I have explained my reasons, as you requested.

I'm sure if this was called hotukdealsandopinions.com then you could, but I am positive that if you ask the powers that be, you will find that voting is for the quality of the deal itself, not your opinion on the product.

From the HUKD Help Section on voting.

"Deals which don't quite hit the mark tend to be voted cold - remember if you're voting a deal cold, it's in the interest of the community to leave a constructive comment within the thread.

I picked up some of these in the Mere Way Tescos in Northampton. Didn't see any in Towcester Tescos. They had the small lead (3m) and large (5m) available on Sunday. Excellent deal if you would normally have to pay £16 for these. The deal is about the PRICE not about whether you like it or not!!

Fab price if you looking for one, sadly I have recently bought one nearly the same about a month ago. will vote hot because the price is fab
Just bought the small one for only £1 in Tesco Llansamelet, Swansea. They are not priced but took it to self scanner. They had about 20 there!

Durham road tesco in Stockton had some large and small for 1 and 2 respectively. They have the newer design ones for 19.99 for the large one. Ffs what Doyle would go for the mire expensive one? Lol

REPOST! COLDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Again, if its a repost, doesn't make the price not a good deal....

Apologies if this has already been posted, didn't have time to do a thorough search.

Deal still stands as a great price. Vote on the deal, not on opinion or genuine mistake.
