I went into my local Tesco this morning & their own brand "free from" fish fingers were reduced from £1.99 down to 84p... But when they scanned they went through at 42p!
I went back for a few more packets... lol.

mmmm....... what are 'free from'?...... fish

You might want to edit the price, £42 is a bit expensive for fish fingers

I buy these for my daughter who has a gluten intolerance and actually, they are very nice. None available at my Tesco though.

£2 for about 50g of fish? :w00t:

why not just buy a proper healthy cod fillet (about £2 for 200g)?

Do you have any idea the cost of other Gluten free foods?? At £2 they were still reasonably priced for something thats conveniant to have in the freezer.

"Free from" foods are aimed at people with alergies, illness and medical conditions, it gives them the chance to have relativly normal foods with the convenience that most people take for granted, yes some proper cod fillet may be healthier but the same can be said for for regular fish fingers but sometime convenience wins out.

£1.99 down to 42p is a good saving simple as that

I think they are stopping the Tesco ones as they are now selling some other branded make of gluten free fish fingers. I think it was Youngs and of course they are £1.99!
