Pretty good reduction, nice price for 650g, expiry Nov 2018 so I guess they're destocking it. But mine scanned @ £5 so I got double the difference back (along with a lot of tutting from the old trout @ CS), ie £4 - making my prawns £1

The £3.00 offer ended yesterday, you were simply were lucky to take advantage of your local store inefficiency

it's a real shame, I was on the point of buying 6 packets as well, then just went for 2 as I hadn't bothered to use a Tesco basket or bring a bag
what's the point in posting this today if deal ran out yesterday

    It's pretty clear...
He posted the deal thinking the prawn's were actually £3. And you may get lucky if there is a national problem with the shelf-price.

It turns out that his store hadn't updated their shelf-price and the prawns were actually back up to £5 - and the prawns are not £3.

That was the point, but etta and sussie have pointed out what is actually going on.

the old trout actually blamed me for paying in self-service - I should have seen the price was wrong

like we memorise the prices etc?

    (well, yes I do! )

I just said I can't see detail without my glasses, which is true enough - sorry ladies - I'm 55
nice to see someone confirming that "double the difference" is still being honoured !
