Tesco Home & Office 18L Cross Cut Shredder Security Cat 3

Just picked up one of these and it's actually pretty good, albeit not the quietest one i've ever tried.

You can't get many decent cheap shredders for under £50 so thought i'd point this one out.

Don't look too bad either.

Catalogue number: 202-4528 for those interested.

I have recently purchased this one which is excellent:

Had one from Tesco before and didn't last too long.

Fair play, but not really comparable. The 5 Star one only has a 15 litre bin. This has an 18L, which was actually the point.

Nice find on the other one though.

I dont see how the size of the empty space really is much of a selling point, you are going to empty it straight into a bin anyway, just empty it earlier. The selling point surely is which shreds better?

tbh these aren't great - mine failed after just a couple of weeks.

18 is 3 more than 15....20% hardly a massive difference!

Thanks just ordered the one from zavvi its £60 most places including amazon

the zavvi one can take staples, paperclips and 7 sheets.

it the better deal to me. but it does mean a trip to the bin 16.666666666666666666% earlier.

i had one of the they are useless, it clogged within minutes and then the piece of metal the control the safe cut off snapped. i ended up binning it within weeks.

Bought on Friday, taken back today broken. Rubbish
