Manufacturer refurbished, 12 month Tesco outlet warranty. Seema to have dropped £10, great price if you're after one. Maybe dropped in anticipation of the new Hudl on the horizon?

These will be returned units that Tesco had all the screen problems with. I love my hudl, although replaced twice in 6 months. Providing they have remedied any early issues this is a good deal, even better if you can use club card vouchers?

well they have 239 units of the red one in stock £59.00 sounds a good deal i might buy 1 and take it back to store if its not fast enough for me and maybe get £119 refund as you will not need a receipt with it being a tesco product .

you will need proof of purchase, I was gifted a hudl, had charging problems needed a receipt for replacement or tesco clubcard number.

are these good?

Have heard bad things about the colour not being great and that it takes forever to charge. may be worth a shot though at less then £60 I'm after a deal for the 7" asus memo pad as think I'll be better off with that one

Cracking plan......

How does this compare with a Nook HD+? Would I notice much of a speed or screen difference? Thanks

I got 2 both with charging problems

Can you use Club card points on eBay outlet purchases?

Rather buy a nook HD 7"...

nooks are great but what you have to remember is you cant download cracked apps unless there rooted . where as other tablets theres no restrictions.

I've found a seller refurbished memo pad for £51.99 Inc postage on ebay. I'm wondering if that's a better bet then this!

Or you could just try paying for apps?

I have a nook 7" and although I love the screen and expandable memory some apps aren't compatible. I worry that the Nook won't receive updates and more and more apps won't be compatible.

No.

I've had my Hudl since day one. Screen issue seems sorted after the latest update. Great little tablet. Nothing wrong with colour on screen. Fast enough for most needs. My battery has been fine charging.

You'd probably have a much easier time returning or getting a refund from Tesco should the thing go wrong

i had one a while back and had a dead spot on the screen, was a nightmare to get money back and they dont pay for return postage even though it was delivered broken

that said i must admit its a great tablet for the price

I'm gettin a tablet for my young daughter and after reading good things on here about the Nabi 2 kids tablet waa going to get that but as there's only about £15 difference I'm guessin the Hudl would be a much better buy now? What do people reckon? Would just be for games, films, etc so thinking the Hudl's screen alone makes it woth the bit extra?

If that price was for a Memo HD 7 then yes but if it's for the base Memo then no as they are awful.

Not sure on whether to go for this or nabi 2 for my 6 year old, any thoughts?

Leaning towards nabi 2 as it's pretty much built and set up fir kids and spec still seems decent but is Hudl better enough to warant paying a bit extra?

I have one,

Great for video playback, playing tunes, etc, with sd card, and is strongly built (i am happy to stick this in a backpack if going off somewhere, which i dont feel so safe doing with my ipad or lg 8.3

Pretty poor imho for browsing, rather laggy, slow, unresponsive etc,

Would be very good for kids to watch videos on i reckon, can take a bashing, but wouldnt recommend as a general use tablet.

Voted hot though

Bit dramatic ....

Maybe ... but freely describing how you will defraud a company is not on. If we are deliberating the level of fraud we are already in the wrong territory. Anyway enough said.

Hi there looking for birthday pressie for my 5 year old either a hudl or a samsung galaxy kids tablet baffled by it all any views ?:-)

I dropped my Hudl in a puddle, now im in a muddle
