Found 7th Jul 2011
I work at Tesco and noticed this go down in price last night. Pretty sure its a price error on their part and will probably be changed but at the moment its 50p.

Nice little camping stove to, comes in a carry bag and with a recipe book. Only thing needed is the gas for it.

Bought two for myself and we had quite alot left in our store.

tagged Birmingham so assume its there

correct, 50p in leicester extra so i cleared the shelf
What were they next to in store? camping stuff? or other?
Why does it say £50 instead of 50p?
Heat added
£25 in Burnley
Yea was in New Oscott store in birmigham.

To the people saying it's still £25 is that just the label or did you try it through the till? Because prices should be uniform across all stores =/

Yep - scanned on the aisle scanner at £25
Definitely labeled at £25 in Osterley and Twickenham and both scanned at £25.

That said, I did pick up some coal for a BBQ this weekend. 10KG for £6.

Also got one of them bucket BBQ's for £3.75 for V Fest.
None in Denton crown point or gorton

just went to broughton in north wales and picked 2 up from a stackers cage and a shelf stacker took them off me saying they were not for sale at the moment.
I picked a couple up in Watford for 50p each.
Got one at Goodmayes (East London) a few left!

Gutted! surly they cant do that tho? if it says 50p then they have to sell it at that regardless of it being a price error?

no they dont, they provide the sale of 50p, you make the offer of 50p but they still have to accept your offer and they can, as in your case, refuse...unlucky, win some lose some - however if youve paid then they cant do anything - i believe even if you are still in the shop

i bought 10 cameras from a big online company for £0.00 plus £3.95 postage per sale, they came in 2 seperate sales of 5 but the dunces had marked the invoice as £3.95 for the sale rather than splitting it as £0.00 for each item and £3.95, so legally i was fine becasue of their error, whereas if they had done it properly then in theory they could ask for them back because i hadnt paid anything for them, even 1p wouldve been fine - as the sale was £3.95 per 5 they didnt have a leg to stand on

they tried to charge £400 but i warned them thats illegal, they relented and paid it back

not sure if theyve corrected the price now but at lunctime in bracknell homeplus they were £25 too

seems strange unless its only 50p in tesco extras, or perhaps theyve corrected the price
tek monkey...dixon stoke my thread as it wsd me who found them in a reading store at 50p...bought 10....gave 4 to famiky and friends and sold 4 for 40 to 45 on fleabay...kept 2
actually the cannisters are en417

they are self sealing cans

someone suggested using Coleman ones. please check that they en417. if they are not do not use them..just because they fit doesnt mean its safe..they must self seal
