Tesco Instore - Microsoft Office Home & Student 2011 for Mac - £5

Found 5th Dec 2013
Noticed this on a shelf in Tesco Inshes in Inverness this evening and picked up a copy, reduced from £80 to a fiver

Microsoft Office Home and student 2011 for Mac includes full versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint 2011 (no Outlook).

It allows you to licence 1 Apple® Mac for home or the office, with no subscription required.

The box contains a DVD, although there's also a link to download the software if you don't have a dvd drive.

Looks to be instore only as I can't find the same deal online.
Good luck - hopefully others can find the same deal elsewhere!

More than likely only in your store. However worth a look if going to a store anyway and heated.

Damn if only I have £1500 to spend on a mac to buy this.

Which tesco is it?

amazing price

Unbelievable deal!! Shame its not online too!

U could buy a few and flog on eBay

second what ashraf86uk said, for £5 it's a steal!!

Didn't know this existed I thought microsoft wouldn't let mac users be able to get office but I suppose if they get money they aren't going to not do it.

arrrghh just got this delivered today!!

Another Tesco deal which no one ever finds. I bet a lot of people go into Tesco looking for the instore deals that pop up on HUKD.
If I was to guess, I'd say at least half of everyone who goes looking for these instore deals buys at least one thing on their way back, more profit for Tesco.

Makes me think it's Tesco's marketing team behind this. Maybe they're paying off HUKD members to post these deals?

nice, hopefully not a in store deal only

not a chance.........

If so, I would like to put myself forward for consideration.

I am extraordinarily cheap, in both morals and running costs.

Wow I could do with this! My course mates go crazy at me because I keep doing my group coursework on Google Docs and it screws up the file format. At this cost I would get it, don't think I can afford buying it at full price though

If anyone can get an extra copy, I will happily pay for postage and cover the cost of a copy for them.

Microsoft have just released Student Advantage - if your school or college sign up for it (and there are some conditions they need to meet), students can get Microsoft Office free for up to 5 devices, while they are at that institution. A device can be a PC, mac or ipad.

Wow, heat added.

A chap I know has a nasty habit of going in stores and if he can't find what he is looking for either because it is not there or they have moved it as they always do, he takes the most expensive item out of the freezer and leaves it somewhere warm just to teach them a lesson. What a waste and I a not suggesting anyone do this but the moral is I would not want angry people in a store looking for something that's not there. If you are right then tesco or any other store should not do this.

nice for OP, but 99% chance of being a one-off

Wow great deal!

lmao. Who ever he is, he's a total boss.

Awesome price for a piece of software that IMO is better on mac than windows PCs... No chance of a lot of people getting it though.

Great, hope grab one

OK, been quite surprised to have received a couple of PMs shall we say, questioning my honesty, so to prove my bargain I've uploaded a pic

Hope you can view it ok!

You can get one for less than a third of that.

Wow, amazing price! going to go crazy finding this tomorrow morning!!

Ive heard the staff actually have bets on how many customers come to store and ask for after they have placed the bogus post.
Suppose you gotta entertain yourself somehow in a customer facing role, so I probably wouldn't blame them and the management probably turn a blind eye to this sport as it gets customers through the door !!
