:)what scotland store was it im just getting ready to go to the coatbridge one was it on the normal shelf or in a clearance isle ect??

Maybe jst in store, since I could found it online.

this can only be used with Tesco's own VOIP software & is incompatible with anything else. I used to have one but found it a bit of a dust-gatherer as I mainly use Voipcheap.

has anyone seen this in another store?

please be aware guys its not compatible with vista

shame i have a really cr*ppy tesco phone but it works with vista

This is a great offer I have just bought one but could only get the corded ones, but at 1p I am not complaining. thanks:-D

Got the last one in Halifax - comes with £5 credit.

I sold two of these on thebay sold for around a tenner a few months ago

Also this phone is incompatible with apple mac's. In this day and age where software is developed for multiple platforms, it seems that this futuristic phone has its feet well and truly stuck in 2005

Low cost is not something normally associated with MACs.

Poor VOIP Avoid, not great. Voted Cold. There Are other alternativies on the Market for a few pounds more. Trust me the Tesco Internet phone is Rubbish and I'm a qualified Cisco Network Engineer who works in voice over internet protocol data storage.

Media Access Control, as in the address your network card has?

Oh you mean apples hardware  most of which is reasonably priced. Yeah their high end machines are very expensive but macbooks and ipods are very often associated with "MACs" and not overpriced IMO

And most home users would use Cisco VoIP of course....

If its THAT bad, use it for the free £5 credit then bin it.

No Cisco VoIP mainly for Business commercial and intended for a top end VoIP use but that was not the Analogy I was trying to make, my point is I feel the Tesco VoIP service is very poor in comparrison to other VoIP providers in a similar price brackett. OK a free £5 worth of calls is fair, But As I say not a great deal
