Lamb meat is to expensive for these cheap products.
Nasty cheap meat 🤮
had these countless times (always when on offer for £5/£4)

i dont think its cheap (nasty) meat

tho maybe im just more used to eating cheap (nasty) meat, (and unlike the other meal deal tescos does on indians the 2 sides 2 mains for £5 that are to watered down these are not) *tho ofc again i eat cheap stuff so, maybe my opinion doesnt matter at all*

if you microwave them ya they are going to be a few dryed out bit of meat here and there (when not covered but sauce) but oh well

Just picked one up myself for tonight 😋 I think these are alright to be honest, I never microwave them though, I put them in the oven.

and the naan breads, onion bhaji there both free or sub 40p, i guess,

the cheapest i would work out to make both not just one of them as it is a twin pack, up to the sameish weight for weight for was £7.74, than ofc you have the time put in to making it and not just easy oven or microwaving

tho ya as keysers0ze said, you should be and pm

tho only cos they like to omit details, and talking in half truths

That does not mean it's not a good deal anyway. That probably means the wifie is not a good deal

Or it could mean there are 2 for you!
Is this one of those Tesco chicken ready meals where the chicken still comes from Thailand? I bought several tinned "meals" which in small print was labelled as containing chicken from Thailand, but not being too picky & wanting not to waste it, gave the curry a try. Not a word of a lie, my gut was bad for a week. Never had that with any curry before. Googled about Tesco Thai chicken use & Tesco PR spin replies to customers complaints was that its chicken from Thailand was checked regularly for high standards... blah, blah, blah, but after that meal, I'll be avoiding any meals that do. I'm not normally a scaremonger, but if it does, I'd recommend to avoid.

"In the past Tesco has sold a chicken roast dinner labelled as "produced in the UK" when the meat has come from Thailand. It will now relabel an estimated 1,000 lines of meat, spelling out the country of origin.21 Sep 2009"
These are very poor quality. I'd want to be paid more than eight quid to eat one.
I think the 2 individual Currys + 2 sides deal for £5 taste better (certainly sides are better quality). More choice too.

Maybe they stopped it because it wasn’t ‘lamb’ :/

Double portion for you then
Morrisons takeaway curry’s are currently on offer for £1.50 per dish. The quality is infinitely better than Tesco’s imho. Still good value for all that though...

Had this for our dinner was lovely bargain price
"Plastic curry" as me any the wife call it. Not much like authentic curry but not too bad in its own right.
Bought this yeaterday just to try. Never again. Utterly di Only edible thing was the bread. Binned. None of the supermarket curries are any good only Waitrose comes near to being edible.
Had this yesterday, good value for money.
Had a few not bad for a cheap curry straight out of the oven
Hot!

Been buying these for years at the normal 'deal' price of £5.

Never seen it at £4 before, hence hot...
Awful , chickens tough and the korma is grainy🤮

Missing the point man, if you're so into making your own curries then you won't have tasted these. I don't doubt that a lot of the curries on your little website will be better, but the Tesco ones are nice, quick and cheap. If you're not a jobless and getting home from work at 6/6:30 you don't have time to make a curry entirely from scratch. NEXT.
Whoever made these fake recipes let me tell you, coconut and creams are not used in any real curries. Rest of the recipe was ruined by pastes.
They might have used them in mughal era
2 currys, 2 rice, 4 onion bhajis and 2 naan.

Selection of curries available in the chilled section of Tesco:
- Tikka Masala & Jalfrezi
- Korma & Jalfrezi
- Korma & Tikka Masala
Tried one of these the weekend..masala and jalfrezi...was delish....hubby not one for Indian style food..so I forced him...he liked it...so heat from me for taste and price, although I think it was 49 % fat..lol
Great price for an average microwave curry... Heat given
great price for what you get. can't argue with a half price deal on an indian ready meal
Look at the reds on the traffic lights! Heart attack in a box.
These aint bad for what they are and for £4 are stupidly cheap.
I have discovered the chicken is from Thailand in these curries along with the chicken in the wraps they do in their sandwich section. I had one of these curries recently and the chicken was awful yet I’ve bought these curry boxes many times before and had no issue so I wonder how long the chicken has been
coming from Thailand.
Ordered it after the deal at HUKD was published, taste was good considering the price. Ordered it again in the last 2 weeks and Tesco had it out of stock for the delivery twice
