My grandmother was a farmers daughter who became a townie but always said nothing should be wasted we used to have hearts braised with sage and onion stuffing in them were very taste. Remember having beef heart, roasted some of the things just weren’t nice but no problem with heart.

Thanks very much Tummywobbler.

These double up as a fleshlight. I'd recommend putting them into a pan of warm water first (microwaves will make them go rubbery)

In my youth I used to swoon in Butchers shop's.

Heart tastes lovely, its annoying when people happily munch away on muscle, but won't eat offal.

Don't knock it till you try it.
I cook them in the slow cooker or if in a rush in the halogen oven - very tasty 😋

Suspended

and each bite you be thinking: this little lambikins was bouncing on the grass just yesterday, gambolling & playing with his lambikins mates - now I'm eating his heart because I is the devil

I'm sure we all hate waste here and if we're gonna use them as a source of meat we should use as much of the animal as we can!
