Hot just orderd some.

red button doesn't point to Tesco.

Clicking the link brings you back to this page!!

Excellent, most meals costing between £6-10 for 3 packs now cost just £2.

These are also freezable, so we're stocking up

Thanks for that mate, we ordered 27 ready meals......and some fresh food too. :giggle:

good work, in store there was 1 small point of sale stating singapore rice noodles £2.49 in yellow and on the same ticket it states ANY 3 light range meals for £2.

this was the ONLY point of sale though and it doesnt scan through the tills as such so i had 15 minutes in customer services , it was worth the wait, when i got charged through the tills it gave 3 for 2, so i got £9.60 or something off the total, but it didnt do the 3 for £2.

sooo i then got the items scanned back through at customer services and then refunded a further £36.

i got 18 ready meals which are ideal for work, for £8.50 give or take a few pence, top bargain.

it may be worth ordering online to save arguing with till staff though.

hot n rep from me.

States 3 for £2 instore, but got charged 3 for 2. Still not bad value.

At the checkout I got charged 3 for 2 instead of 3 for £2 :x so argued my case and eventully got 3 for £2 as stated on shelf ticket:-D

Fantastic deal, going to have a look in Tesco tomorrow, thanks!

Wasnt 3 for £2 in My local but was 3 for 2.. Maybe a mistake online?? Might be worth buying online just incase....

It looks as though tesco have made an error (online and instore) by saying it's 3 for £2, when they really mean 3 for 2.
Got my shopping delivered today and they charged me 3 for 2.
Gonna complain and get a refund.

I was thinking that I have placed an order and printed page off to argue if neccesary.. what happens if they take full amount?? Surely they've got to warrant price advertised?

I thought it was too good to be true. Not going to be doing my online shop till sunday for a tuesday delivery so will hold out till then to see what occurs i think.

Have just emailed tesco, also it still says 3 for £2 on my order history (should help to back up my case). Will let you know what happens.

Its supposed to be 3 for 2, but the SEL's instore 10 mins ago also atated 3 for £2.

With their overcharge policy, the expensive ones would end up being free, if you are willing to argue your case.

I couldnt be bothered tho.

Do be careful if you order online as I have had several rather heated debates with their customer service department re 'overcharges' on my delivery. Sometimes it really isnt worth the hassle!!

Can someone post a pic on here incase we need to show proof?

I've got my shopping coming tomorrow morning and it's the only reason I completed a shop to be honest...and ended up spending £190 guide price......including other stuff...I didn't stock up that much. :giggle:

Just ordered 6 myself for home delivery next week. Does def say 3 for £2 online, and I've copied the web page as proof for any future argument!

Please let us know if you get overcharged or get satisfaction from customer service -- it seems like they should have to honor the price it says online.

here is a pic of the 3 for £2 offer if anyone needs it:-

Just been to tesco in coventry at the ricoh arena..
The meals are clearly labled at 3 for £2 and this is a misprint according to the customer service team. It should be 3 for 2.

However as they have a 'double the difference' policy i bought 9 of them, paid £21, went to customer services, complained and they gave me just over £30 back. So thats 9 free meals i have got and they an extra £8 in my pocket. You cant get a better deal than this, when tesco are giving you money... This is roasting HOT.

They only problem is that it just takes one person to point out the error at each store and then the offer tickest are withdrawn. So unless you do it online, it will be a first come first serve deal at each and every store.! But just check that the 3 for £2 labels are displayed, and if they are you should be quids in..

Just rejected a home delivery order, driver argueing the fact they are 3 for 2, showed him the website which clearly stated 3 for £2.00, he left with his tail between his legs

nice ....heat and rep added

I think the best bet is to accept the order and then call customer service if you want a price adjustment. Delivery drivers surely have fairly limited scope on this sort of thing, and don't want to get in trouble, either.

Hi all, I've had the same problem. Spotted this great deal and placed an order which was delivered last night - where they charged me as 3 for 2, not 3 for £2.

It's taken three emails and a couple of basic arithmetic lessons for Tesco staff for them to finally come back with the following:

Thank you for your email.

I’m very sorry to hear that you did not receive the correct promotion on your grocery order. I can understand how disappointing this must have been for you.

I’ve processed a refund for the items to your payment card and you’ll receive an email to confirm the final amount refunded. Please allow 3-5 working days for this amount to show in your account.

I’ve fully logged your complaint and passed the details to our Home Shopping Manager. They’ll follow this up with the staff concerned and do everything they can to stop this from happening again.

Thank you for taking the time to bring this to my attention.

So to anyone else who's in the same situation all I can say is persevere. Though they'll probably try and fob you off with a 'thanks but you're not reading your receipt correctly' email! :-D

I've made an order to be delivered on the 13th.

I was keen to take advantage of this offer before I heard of this error. I want them to honour it! Would it be best to bring my delivery forward, or should they honour it anyway?

Should I accept the delivery regardless having lodged my concerns with the driver and then get on to Customer Service afterwards? Or will they have rectified by then? Or is there a risk that I might have to pay the increased price?

Has anyone had any experience with this before?

Have been refunded £6 from tesco for the ready meals....

Just received email from tesco saying:

I would like to apologise again for any difficulty you may have encountered with your order.
I have now refunded £6 back into your account for the following items. This should appear within the next few days.

thanks a lot for this. I've done an online shop today and didn't know this was a misprice. So I've taken a screen grab of the items in the order which I will email/call customer services about tomorrow once the order arrives (assuming they HAVE charged 3 for 2 and not 3 for £2!) - these are the ones Ive ordered

3 Tesco L/C Ham & Mushroom Tagliatelle 400g Each £1.58 £4.74
3 Tesco L/C Lasagne 430g Each £1.50 £4.50
3 Tesco L/C Chilli Con Carneand Rice 500g Each £2.50 £7.50
3 Tesco L/C Chicken & Pasta Bake 400g Each £2.49 £7.47
3 Tesco L/C Chicken Tikka Masala/Rice 450g Each £2.25 £6.75

Just thought I'd let everyone know that I had the same issues earlier with my delivery, as we purchased 27 ready meals on top of our shopping (most of the ready meals are now in the freezer lol).

They applied £18 discount, for the products that cost nearly £60, so I've been overcharged by over £20.
I spoke to the driver about this, as our shopping came to over a £150 and then noticed the promo definitely hasn't been applied properly and the guy was very helpful.

He advised to accept the shopping and call customer services and if they don't honour the misprice, then you can request them to collect it in the future and if it spoils, then it's there problem and they'll still have to refund you but they do generally accept misprices.

I called customer services and she explained it is supposed to be 3 for 2, as clearly labelled on some of the products but she definitely noted the 3 for £2 on the site, so she called the store and the store argued that the correct discount had been applied.

I then explained to her that's not the case, as it's cost approx double what it should of for the promoted products, so she called them back again and it's been confirmed that the money will be back in our account within 3-5 days and they'll confirm the amount shortly.

In all honesty, this is clearly a misprice and from what I can remember from my businesses courses, companies aren't forced to accept misprices and some of the meals packaging does clearly state that it's 3 for 2.
I doubt Tesco will honour these as a goodwill gesture for much longer, as they're making a considerable loss on every meal, so my advice would be to bring any orders forward before they alter the offer with a simple edit.

Hope that helps.

why do you have to register to look at the deals on the tesco website? thats just stupiddddddddddd :x

Cheers, brought my order forward for delivery Monday on your advice.

Hoping they honour it. BARGAIN!!!!

The website is still saying 3 for £2. Wonder why they have not changed it if people have been called CS about being overcharged? Still on the fence as whether to order some and then be prepared to argue my case or just leave it for the sake of a couple of quid and probably lacklustre meals.

they do have to honor it if they are advertising it inless there is a small clause in there terms and conditions which some companies have. if it is not honored they are false advertising and trading standards would love to receive a call about this.

in some stores it is priced at 3 for £2 on the shelf edge and double the difference is being applied when overcharged. tesco policy.

Just had the delivery and the items had 3 for 2 flashed on them. The CS Lady (Hannah) on the phone was very friendly and she said that I wasnt the first to call about this. She immediately said that she will refund the £10.46 onto my card as I am a loyal online customer (we spent over £200 on this shop alone!) who doesnt usually have problems . So be warned any one who doesnt use tesco shopping online, only ordering a mountain of these meals! Admittedly they do need to sort out the website though as its still showing 3 for £2!

I'm a regular Tesco online customer and I'm pretty sure they'd honor the price change on the meals, but I went ahead and took the meals out of my order anyhow as I just don't want to deal with CS on this, I just have too many other things going on to fool with it. That said, the site clearly says 3 for 2 quid on all the items, and I think they do have to honor that if you're willing to stick to your guns and call a few times if necessary.

even if its a first shop it will be honored. its false advertising if not and they will lose alot more. if it was such a big problem they would make sure the offer was fixed. they are even miss priced in some stores and its been honored.

All will soon be revealed because I'm a first-time home delivery customer and have an order scheduled for delivery tomorrow. Will obviously update on the outcome!

Hi has anyone got an email address to ask for a refund. We can't find one on the website.

We bought 12 meals and its only gone through as 3 for 2 :x so want to get a bit of money back.

The website still states they are 3 for £2
