Tesco market Value Pepper is now only £1 for 700 grams. Usually the bag contains 5 to 8 peppers depending on the size. considering the fact that price of one loose pepper is 68p, this bag is an absolute bargain.

500g but still aren't bad value :-D

A pepper will stay fresh for say a week, so if you ate two with every meal (excluding breakfast) in that time that would be 14 peppers which is two bags. Say the usual price for 7 would be £2.50. You would save £3 based on eating pretty much as many peppers as possible in that period.

Not sure it's a hot one to be honest

Bizarre post.....oO
Who would eat 2 peppers with every meal?
You say 'every' meal (excluding breakfast), so I'm assuming you mean 2 meals a day, if you ate 2 with every meal that's 4 a day x 7 days is 28 peppers.
If you didn't buy 2 bags in the first place you wouldn't have to eat 2 of them with every meal to get your moneys worth would you?
What's wrong with buying just 1 bag?
I'll just buy one bag with 7/8 in, and be happy with the 5 extra peppers and the saving of 36p over buying 2 single ones.

not bad for supermarkets rip off veggies
buy a couple of bags and roast em
will keep for a while and bloomin tasty

Good if you like green ones.

Seems a good price to me, we buy peppers when cheap and then chop them up and freeze them!

Unless I've missed something here, this is not a new offer but has been available in tesco at least a couple of weeks!?!?!

Normally made up of mainly green although a few weeks back I got 5 red and one yellow in a bag

I only ever buy value peppers, the others are a rip off - my little boy will eat a full pepper with his lunch...bargain x

They tend to be smaller and poorer quality, so you're better off buying a pack of 3 larger and better quality ones for £1.38 if you can spare the extra change..
