can not see it

If it works:

http://shop.tescomobile.com/sim-only#monthly-min=7&monthly-max=45&contract[]=1&minutes-min=1000&minutes-max=3000&data[]=2048

Doesn't deserve to be cold either! Decent deal this.

Yep ordered thanks loads op, was paying £15 a month for giffgaff

Good deal for high user. :-)

Why is this a virgin mobile deal killer? Its a great deal but personally I prefer the extra 200mins to the extra 1gb data? Or am I missing something?

Typical tesco it doesn't work and the online support can't help. Got two contracts both cancelled. Tyupical of tesco/Direct. Tesco needs to be banned from here along with Very.

Unfortunately we have encountered a malfunction.
Please contact Tesco Mobile Customer CARE on 0845 301 4455.

The Virgin deal is better

For you maybe yes...

I'm on 1,500 minutes, 5000 texts and 2gb of data on Tesco for £17.50 a month so it's only really £2.50's difference for 500 minutes and a 30 day roller as opposed to the 12 month one i'm on

Considering you've never posted a deal on here I don't think you should be the one telling us who should and should not be banned.

Anyone know if you can tether with this ?

Has Tesco paid their O2 bill?

Virgin data on £15+ is unlimited, INCLUDES TETHERING.

Has Tesco paid their O2 bill?

Doubt it, o2 own 50% of Tesco mobie, no bills & profit is shared 50/50.

Anyone know if you can tether with this ?

NO

this is a good deal but I don't think they let you move to it if you have a Nano Sim (or possibly Micro Sim)

Seaniboy thanks for your lenghty reply..

Is that a no you dont know or no you know for a fact you cannot tether ?

No you can't tether on o2 or tesco

No you can't tether on o2 or tesco

o2 must allow tethering on certain contracts, otherwise it would be somewhat bizarre for the o2 website to openly provide instructions on how to tether:
news.o2.co.uk/201…ns/.
Happy to put on my tin hat and suit of armour in preparation to be shot down in flames:
I suspect as long as you stay within the prescribed 2gb, then it shouldn't matter if the customer tethers.
There may (or may not) be fine-print t&c saying no tethering allowed, but I am yet to see the tethering police gripping customers by the short'n'curlies and dragging them off to the cells (sic).

Exactly, it's not possible to prevent tethering.

Good deal, shame the o2 signal is terrible everywhere around my area, EE or Vodafone only for me im afraid.

Why is that relevant? Just because I haven't wasted your time with a spurious deal!!! I'm constantly having deals cancelled by Tesco/Direct. Three out of the last three have not been honoured. This is how they treat their current customers. I have a Tesco Mobile contract already!!

Dont see this as a virgin mobile deal killer also virgin allow tethering

I sure the answer is yes but thought i would check with the fountain of knowledge that exists on this site.
My contract is up in 2 months... If i got this now could i transfer my number in 2 months time when i start using it.
Dont think this deal will be around for long on 1month contract basis

Is this a Virgin killer?

It's a good deal but there isn't much in it really.

As a my homephone is with Virgin their deal is better for me as my wife can phone my mobile from homephone for free.

Is this a good deal for sim only.. Just my new iPhone 5 is £18.20 a month for unlimited calls text and data through a friends and family discount. I had to pay £199.99 upfront but my old iPhone 4 sold for £227 on eBay so free as that was previously free

rubbish deal prefer tethering. virgin is the better deal.

I have virgin mobile sim only rolling contract. I pay £5 a month for 1200 mins, unlimted txt, unlimted virgin to virgin calls and unlimted txt, and unlimted mins to other networks and unlimted txt to other networks, and 1 gb internet. As a loyal customer

How long were you with them before you got this offer?

Because that is about as good as it gets.

Tesco dont offer call waiting, message delivery reports or tethering.

I've been on a O2 monthly rolling contract for about 3 years now and tether to my Touchpad (cm9 installed) no problem. Also tether to my netbook running win 7 no problem. Those that are saying that you cannot do this on O2 (at least on the comparable monthly rolling contracts on O2) are either ill-informed or talking complete rubbish and likely have no experience of being on a O2 monthly contract themselves. Many providers may have it in there terms and conditions that you are not alllowed to tether, this does not mean that you cannot do so though. Personally I have no experience of Tesco Mobile so I cannot offer any assistance on whether tethering is possible or not. It is possible on both O2 and Giff Gaff so I cannot see why Tesco Mobile would be any diffferent.

Doesn't work for iPhone 5!

hi ,

do tesco support delivery report of text message, if so are they free?

Is this the virgin deal people are talking about

hotukdeals.com/dea…887

Is that not a retention deal?

edit : ahh I think it might be the £12.00 one here

Quite agree,Tesco stores must be THE crappiest, most diabolical, awful stores ever.Customer service is non-existent as well.

Have been with tesco for nearly 5 yrs and have always tethered the internet to my netbook
